Our second visit to this property; we'll no doubt return again. Lucinda is a wonderful host; great communication; very hospitable. The house is superb. The grounds are expansive and private. The inslet to the lake is secluded and very quiet. Proximity to shops is great. The lake is lovely. The sunsets are amazing! Recommended .... absolutely!

From arrival to departure we enjoyed every detail of our stay. The beds were comfortable for a great night of rest. There is plenty of space to spread out on the property and enjoy the sunshine. We kayaked, used the paddle board, played yard games, grilled out, sunbathed, played cards checkers scrabble and made great memories. Lucinda was incredible to give space and still stayed in touch for any needs. We would recommend this property for sure! The fireworks and air show over the lake area were a great Fourth of July bonus too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We were only there for a weekend to see and photograph wildflowers in nearby Ennis, but the house and property were perfect for our family. The property is as described, but even nicer than the pictures suggest. The owner was very communicative and responsive to questions and needs. When I inquired if there was an electric kettle in the house, she initially responded that there was not, but when we arrived there was a brand-new electric kettle there for us. Also, on the road there I realized I had forgotten to bring s'more supplies but were happy to find s'more supplies waiting for us there along with fresh baked cookies! We definitely plan to return when we have more time to enjoy the lake.

Spent a fantastic weekend with our sons. So thoughtfully appointed with coffee pods, tin foil, shampoo and books of all types. Games, horse shoes, corn hole, blackberries ready to be picked, vegetables in the garden, canoes, kayaks. This property is well-designed and landscaped yet still very natural. Would rent again. The owner, Lucinda, responded very quickly to our questions, which is so helpful when renting.

Lucinda was an amazing host again, making sure we had everything we needed for a fun weekend with the kids. The Ranch House and Hideaway are so comfortable, we cant wait to go back. Plenty of games both inside and outside kept us all busy. The improvements on the property along the shoreline are so well done; easy access to the water for kayaking, paddle boarding or just floating. This is the best cabin on the lake!

Our stay was amazing, restful and beautiful surroundings. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Great for adults and kids of all ages. Lucinda is so attentive and responsive. Highly recommend visiting. We really enjoyed our time here.

Nice property, great location, close to Dallas.

We had an amazing time and enjoyed all the views and amenities this home offered. It literally has everything. My wife sampled some Cauliflower from the fresh garden and we enjoyed the kayaks and yard games and grilled every night. The home is full of adventure and games for young children along with the beautiful yard to get lost in. Thank you very much for our stay we will be back.
