Beautiful sunsets await you at The Beach House

We went for a sisters getaway, birdwatching in Point Pelee. The cottage was super close to the park, clean was right on the lake. The patio cushions were I pretty rough shape and the beds were not too sturdy. Communication was great.

There was two foot of snow on the entrance leading from the road to the door. Was unable to bring groceries and, luggage into the cottage. So I just left. I contacted Lena and, asked if I could at least have half off since I’m not staying there and she refused. Said she wasn’t responsible for the snow removal. I was unaware that I needed to bring a snow shovel. I’ve never stayed at a VRBO before and I am not impressed. I just went home and didn’t spend the weekend. So she better not say that anything was wrong with the condo.

What a gem! The cottage is adorable with stunning lake views right from the front door. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bright living area made it easy to relax. Sunsets were absolutely breathtaking, and the private beach was perfect (though the ladders were a bit tricky). Location was ideal—just minutes from Point Pelee and a quick drive to town. I loved my stay!

Cottage was very nice. Excellent location. My only complaint is the beds need to be replaced. I slept most night on the couch.

What a lovely visit we had - beautiful sunsets, right by Point Pelee National Park, comfortable stay. My only regret was I wasn’t comfortable climbing down to private beach area. Wish it would have been regular staircase. We plan on booking in again for next year.

The location and view were perfect for a Point Pelee National Park birding weekend for first time visitors to Canada from Midwest USA. The property was nestled right on Lake Eerie. The sounds of the water and the views of the sunset were a treat! Much to our surprise our visit corresponded with May Fly season. We appreciated the fly swatter, but could have used a broom as well. The kitchen and bathroom were adequately supplied for our needs, however we could have used a few more wash cloths. Our only concern for future visitors would be the beds. As three petite women we found the beds a bit unstable. If our husbands would have been joining us we aren’t sure if the beds would have supported the weight of two people. Overall our stay was enjoyable, relaxing and would love to visit again!

Beautiful view of the lake. Good layout and comfy living area but things are quite old and there is a musty smell that permeated all our clothes.

This cottage is very close to Point Pelee National Park, a very cute little cottage, modern, clean and beautiful view of Lake Erie and the sunsets.
