If you're looking for a great house in a great location along the beach, look no further. It's far enough removed from the built-up parts of the island that it was quiet and not at all crowded, but close enough to everything to be convenient. We woke up to the sounds of the surf and watched dolphins swim along the shore from the deck. The house is easily large enough for a good-sized group without being too large. It was clean and had everything we needed for the stay. All in all, an excellent place to spend Christmas or any other time of the year.

My family and I had such a wonderful and fun Thanksgiving vacation in Emerald Isle, NC. The home was so warm and cozy—truly the perfect layout for a family of all ages. Also, we tried out the recommended spots, Flipperz and The Sweet Spot, and they were absolutely delicious! I completely understand now why Sue is a Premier Host. She truly thought of every little detail, and it made our stay feel effortless.

This was the best house we’ve ever rented! Our adult children and their significant others joined us and we were all happy with king sized beds and our own baths. The owner is very thoughtful as the house is well stocked with everything imaginable from the kitchen, to beach chairs and games. You’ll have a great time at Captain’s Choice!

Adult children gathered for our mother’s bday…we had no idea how perfect this beachfront house would be. It was heavenly. The house configuration was perfect for our needs, it was stocked with just about everything one would need. But the beach! Oh, how beautiful…and the view from almost every window made it just perfect. ps…the little deck out back was a welcome respite when you needed a break from the sun! All in all, this place was awesome. And I can’t forget Sue…she was responsive, another great reason to rent here.

The house was even more beautiful in person, and we had a wonderful winter beach vacation with our two small children. We chose this rental primarily for the upstairs playroom, but there ended up being many details around the house (stools in the bathrooms, extra baby gate, etc) that made it a really smooth stay for our family. The beds were comfortable, and the beach views and access were so great. We are already talking about when we can come back, likely with extended family or friends because there is plenty of space for more than our family of four. Thank you, Sue!

What a wonderful beach house! Highly recommend if you’re staying with children! We stayed with our kids and grandkids. The third floor is so well equipped for the littles as well as all of the beach toys! Beautiful views, clean and just perfect! Many memories we will cherish for a lifetime!

Beautiful & clean. The house has everything that you need, more than most homes I’ve stayed at in Emerald Isle. I left some jewelry & clothes in a drawer that the cleaners found and the home owner is the process of returning to me. I appreciate the honesty immensely! Thanks again.

House was perfect for our first family vacation with my sister in law and her family. The house is laid out to give everyone ample space to get away from the chaos. There is a nice area to come together as a family to play games and share meals. The view is spectacular.
