Beautiful Restored Colonial In Merida Centro – Santa Ana/Paseo Montejo

Beautiful house. Kitchen well equipped. Jesus met us and gave us a tour. Andrea responded to questions promptly.Pool was very cold. A pool cover would be useful.House was very quiet. Great location.

Jesús was a wonderful, welcoming host who went above & beyond the call of duty. Mil vices gracias. Excellent communications. A beautiful, well maintained casa colonial near everything in the Centro. Though we had a rental vehicle which served us well when needed, for much of our 4-day stay, getting around by foot in this delightfully walkable city was a pleasure during most of our outings.

Loved high ceilings and indoor atrium. Perfectly equipped! Well maintained! Great walking access to Montajo, cathedral, 47 street even Walmart...

Beautiful place just blocks from the main road with restaurants or the square. Very clean and the restoration with Mexican tile and large wood doors was beautiful.

The house has plenty of space and everything you need to have a good time and the location is perfect.

The home was stunning, nothing and I mean nothing was wrong with it, the rooms are all spacious with their own AC units which cool very well. The kitchen is well stocked, the restrooms are perfect, the water pressure was good. The pool is big enough and deep enough for the four members of my family to be comfortable and have an amazing time. This is the first time in my travels that nothing and I mean absolutely nothing was wrong. Jesus was there for anything we needed, he was very responsive and made us feel very comfortable during our stay.

This house was built to impress, and it was designed before electricity and air conditioning. There is natural light all over the house; I counted some 26 skylights. It is also naturally cool due to the extensive ventilation. The ceilings are very high (like fifteen or sixteen feet), and some of the walls do not go all the way to the ceiling to allow for air flow. The doors are very tall and have transom windows above them. The door casings are the original wood, and the walls are about a foot thick. If there is the slightest breeze outside, then it is breezy inside (with the help of some ceiling fans). The neighborhood is mostly quiet, and the location is very convenient, with lots of restaurants within walking distance. There is a washer and dryer available, and the pool is very nice. The hosts are attentive, friendly, and speak English. This house provides a beautiful, true, and authentic taste of historic Mexican architecture, but there are also the modern conveniences of a kitchen and air conditioning in the bedrooms. I really enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful home in a wonderful area.

This was a very easy process and great communication from the property manager. At the beginning, there was a little miscommunication, but not a problem at all. The house is in a very central location in about a 15 to 20 minute walk from pretty much everything. Really big rooms And the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need if you want to cook. They have plenty of bottled water in the 10 gallon jars.Didn’t realize until leaving that there was a different Wi-Fi to cover the back of the house where the service is a little spotty, but it’s good to know for next time.The price was very reasonable and we highly recommend this property if you’re visiting the town

The house is beautiful, well situated, and with a nice small pool in the back to cool off.

Very relaxing experience enjoying the pool as well as the interior garden, you really experience how people lived a century ago. Property's location is great and we were able to walk to restaurants and do a ton of sight seeing.

Enjoyed our stay very much and particularly appreciated the location. Also, appreciated finding a kitchen that was properly stocked with cooking tools and appliances - even a sharp knife. Note: the pool is small but nice for cooling down and the court may be a little shady for serious sun lovers.

Wonderfully located near all the historical plazas!Loved how spacious the home was. Almost felt like we had our own Hacienda!I would just make one small suggestion and I mean no offense to the owners would be to update the bed linen and pillows. Other than that it was amazin!

Wow! What a property. We loved the location--easy access to so many great areas in the city, including delicous food. Fell in the love with Merida and looking forward to visiting again soon. Many thanks!

This a tasteful and very well equipped 3 bedroom casita in the centro district of Merida. Only a few metres from wonderful cafes and restaurants and one of the main paseje, it is easy to walk to the central square etc.A great base to explore! Lovely house with cool high ceilings, a well equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a pool. We had a wonderful time and the prooerty mangers were responsive and helpful, and spoke English. Would recommend!

My teenage son, who is too cool to be impressed by anything that his parents pick out, kept saying, THIS is where we're staying?! Needless to say, he was impressed. And so were we. It's an amazing place. Very comfortable, very clean. The property management team was very pleasant and great to deal with. In short, we loved it!

This property is exactly as described and as shown in pictures. If you want that real Mexican feel you must stay here. Andrea & Jesus are great, in constant communication with us and very attentive. It was truly a pleasure staying in this house. We stayed almost 2 weeks and had a great time, we will be back!

The house is beautiful and spacious, with wonderful indoor/outdoor living. Andrea and Jesus were great throughout the process. The location is central to nearby shopping, restaurants. It is about 30 min from the beach and driving distance from Chichen Itza and cenotes. There’s street parking and usually we’re able to park in front of the house.

Husband was very impressed with the house and the family loved all the historical rooms and nice having a pool to cool off in.
