Beautiful property on Lac Courte Oreilles - flat lot! Sleeps 12

The place was great, the photos really undersold what was offered. At the top of our list for future stays in the area.

This property is beautiful, close to the water and clean, the cabin has comfortable beds, the kitchen was well stocked, the bedrooms and sleeping areas were plentiful. I would surely recommend this cabin for any future trips to the northwoods/

Plenty of room, beautiful lake. We really enjoyed the kayaks and the paddle boat.

It was very nice, quiet and more than enough space. Great fire pit right by the lake, nice shoreline and overall pretty damn awesome.

Great property, well equipped inside and out

As a family we have stayed in numerous vacation rentals, with 13-16 people ages ranging from 3 years old to 50 years old. Over the past years, and I have to say this has to be one of the most unkept places we have been at. Setting out to have a have a fun 4th of July week in Hayward this year and I have to say the lake was fantastic, the property had a good dock to swim off and dock the boat and jet skis. However, the home and the owner need to be improved. Upon arrival we were 10-15 minutes early and there was a car in the driveway which no big deal it was the owner/manager though oh cool get to say hi and introduce ourselves. Needless to say, it didn't go over very well, reminding us we could not check in until 4 but we could park off to the side. The AC system was down all week with, with one small AC unit in dining room, which did not give any relief to the bedrooms or the bonus room above the garage. Needless to say, the owner said nothing about this upon arrival. When asking about the AC in the other areas via message the communication went downhill fast. The third day at the home the septic tanks where overflowing in the yard. Let the owner know right away and these were pumped out the same night, but come back to an extention cord taped to teh

We stayed at this home for a family vacation with three separate family units, and the layout worked really well for that set up. The upstairs area was its own separate space which was great for spreading out. The view from the house is beautiful, and being able to tie up our rental boat to the dock was a huge plus.That said, a few things took away from the experience. When we arrived, the house was extremely warm. We followed the owner’s instructions to troubleshoot the wall AC units, but couldn’t get them to work. When we contacted Kristi, she informed us that the part to fix the units had been ordered 10 days prior and might arrive during our stay. Unfortunately, the AC wasn’t fixed until the last day. The first night was especially uncomfortable- humid and hot, several of us got little to no sleep. Although the outdoor temperature eventually dropped, the inside remained muggy for a few days due to the high humidity.Also worth noting: all of the kids in our group got swimmers itch from the lake. We spoke to a local who mentioned it’s been an ongoing issue. We have visited many lakes in Wisconsin and Illinois and never experience this before, so a heads up from the owner would’ve been appreciated. Overall, the house itself is lovely, and with better transparency it could easily be a 5 star stay.

We had a nice trip and enjoyed our stay! The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable! We utilized the foldable mattresses which my uncle says he needs to buy some they were so comfortable. It was great having the 3 bathrooms. We stayed to go ice fishing and the lake was very easy to access and steps from the back door. We had no complaints and the kids want to go back when it’s warmer!! Kristi was very responsive and easy to communicate with!

Great property. Tons of space. We had multiple families stay comfortably. We will be back.

Nice and large for two families, our dog and all of our fishing stuff. The weather turned extremely cold so the girls spent most of the time inside playing games instead of fishing. A few that could use fixing- the bunks are very wobbly and none of our kids would sleep on them, the main door hinge is damaged and the door needs to be lifted to open/close and it would’ve been nice to have sand/salt for the sidewalk as it got very icy. Overall we had a fun time.

We had 3 families stay for the weekend. It’s was a wonderful get together. The upstairs was perfect for the kids - they felt like they had their own apartment and loved it! There were plenty of beds & bedding. The place is incredibly peaceful and gorgeous in the water. The kids got to fish off the dock and loved it.

The view was amazing! Cute little town. Lots of space and clean.

We should have asked about the air conditioning the first night, but once we figured it out it was great. Expired smore kit Otherwise it was all good

Loved the lake view and how close the home was to the water. Property is level from cottage to the lake.

Very well equipped cabin on a beautiful lake. Kitchen is full of dishes, silverware pans, everything you need for a big group. The entire cabin is well equipped with bedding towels, etc. Very well kept property, we will be back.

Great property on a lake that has everything. We were able to boat to two really good restaurants, utilize the dock area for swimming and find a sandbar to settle for more swimming. (We have a deep V Lund Tyee). Fishing was excellent too. The kitchen was the first one we found with everything in abundance and laid out so we could do a buffet. Appliances and washer/dryer were new. The space for our boxes and coolers really kept the clutter out if the living space. Supplies were in abundance. Dumpster at the end of the driveway was a brilliant idea. Having few steps to dock and even down from deck allowed our 85-year old mother to enjoy herself. There ware 3 generations of us and we all enjoyed games and meals at the big table. Thank you!

This beautiful home checks all of the boxes our family has been looking for - beautiful lake, spacious, well outfitted and a reasonable distance from home. We especially loved what we dubbed the sweet suite - a somewhat removed bonus area with a bedroom, seating area and kitchenette for the young adults to congregate in after the old folk went to bed. ;D We hope for the privilege of returning for years to come!

We had such a good time here! We had several young children on the trip, and the swim area was perfect for them because it was large with a nice shallow depth. They had lots of fun fishing off the dock as well, and the cabin had all the kitchen necessities and toiletries we needed. Loved it!

This was the third year my large family stayed in this property. It is large and well equipped. The lake is beautiful and was enjoyed by all.
