Beautiful private beach house with access to sound

We really enjoyed staying at this beach house. Spent time fishing and crabbing off dock. Played the shuffleboard table for hours. Went to the beach and took walks around the neighborhood. The house was very clean and well appointed. Good communication with hosts. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Large space for my family to stay. Beautiful scenery. Questions were answered promptly and high priority was taken to address them. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon.

The house was just as described. It was spacious and everything you could want. Our family of 5 stayed in the home. Our three daughters all slept upstairs and each one having their own room was a plus. We loved having the bikes to be able to ride them to breakfast and dinner. The location was perfect. 4th of July fireworks on the beach were unlike anything I have seen. Didn't know which way to look with all of them going off. It was spectacular. The beach was beautiful and not a far walk at all. We took a short drive to Swansboro- loved the town. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Communication with the host was great. We loved our stay at this quaint house on Emerald Isle. The house was perfect for our family of five. We loved all the nature at the house and the proximity to the beach! We rented a golf cart which was super convenient! Would definitely stay here again!

I use VRBO almost exclusively for vacation stays, and this is the best VRBO rental experience I have had (and that’s a high standard, as I have been fortunate to have had many lovely vacation experiences through VRBO). The property is exactly as described, and Sarah was beyond excellent in communicating with us. She was prompt in answering a few questions we had, as well as flexible and kind with a few scheduling issues we faced during the trip. Her aim was to provide a stress free experience for us, and we so appreciated that. The property is *perfect* for families, especially those with kids who may need some extra space for their own rooms but close and connected to the parents room. The kitchen was generously supplied with pots, pans, and even lovely decorative dishes with beach themes that we used to host a small family reunion gathering at the rental one evening of the stay. If you have kids, the lily pond will provide endless entertainment for exploration while you can swing in the breeze right by the pond. The pier will provide the same chance to check out crabs and other water creatures, and there are bunnies hopping all around (at least during June). We didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks but that’s next on our list the next time we visit. Finally, beach access is a very short walk, but we rented a golf cart (easy process for first-timers like us), and that was a highlight for my 4-year-old. Many thanks to Sarah for a 12/10 stay!

I stayed here with a group of college friends to celebrate a big birthday together. The house was wonderful. We enjoyed the deck facing the marsh every night, cooked meals in the well equipped kitchen, took advantage of the kayaks and bikes and felt right at home. We did rent a golf cart which helped us get our stuff to and from the beach (which is easily walkable without all the gear). Sarah, the owner, was always super responsive and helpful. It was a great stay and I highly recommend it.

So many extra's with this house, Bikes, rods, kayak's, crab pots and walkable to the beach. Lazy bench swing overlooking a beautiful pod full of peepers at night. There is something fun and well thought out everywhere you turn.

The house, amenities and communication with manager/ owner could not have been better. The house is spacious and beautiful with magical surroundings and landscaping with easy proximity to the beach. We could not have been happier!!! Be sure we will return. Thanks so very, very much.
