Stayed Aug 1, 2022I really, really enjoyed my stay at this property. It was very clean, comfortable, and provided a great location. It offered easy access to grocery stores, restaurants, and the pier/beach. In addition, it boasted a lovely patio. The host and hostess were responsive, helpful, and just a lovely couple.

Stayed Jun 1, 2022We had a fantastic stay at this rental! We bumped into Rachael and Louis a few times outside and they could not have been nicer and more helpful. The unit was exactly as pictured. Small, but with high-end finishes and furnished with everything (and more than) we needed for our month long stay. We walked (about 3/4 of a mile) to the beach and the Strand every day we were there. It was heaven. The ONLY warning I would give potential renters is that they are located midway up a fairly steep hill. Not a problem for us, but it could be for some.

Stayed Jan 1, 2021I stayed at Rachael and Louie’s apt for 4 months (Jan to April 2021) to escape a Chicago winter during Covid — best decision ever. Great apartment, great landlords, great location — it was perfect. You can’t beat this!!

Stayed Mar 1, 2019The hosts were very accommodating and gracious. We loved the space. It was perfect for the two of us. Also, it is within walking distance to almost everything you need.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The property is a new 1BDR apartment with full size appliances, which are awesome if you do some cooking on your extended stay. We also spent a lot of time at the beach, so the full size washer & dryer in the unit were key to our pleasant stay. Louie & Rachel were wonderful hosts and always answered any questions we had promptly. Whenever I go back to Hermosa Beach, I will definitely want to stay there again. It is ~7-10 min walk to the beach & very close to a Trader Joes, CVS & Vons. You do not have a specific spot to park, but I could always find a spot to park on the street ~ 1/2 block away. There is a unit air conditioner which was beneficial when it got warm. There are also plenty of windows if you prefer fresh air. It is a great place for an extended stay (it is in a quiet neighborhood...it's an easy walk to the action on the strand / Pier Ave)!
