Beautiful Mountainside Waterview Home on Gorgeous Orcas Island

It was a beautiful home. Close to Moran State Park. Very quiet and relaxing home.

Wonderful property and location, this was our second stay here. There was a unusually large population of yellow jacket wasp on this visit and that limited our use of the backyard area.

Perfect house for our family- lots of room, comfortable with everything you need. Well- supplied kitchen. The view from the deck was amazing and we gathered each night to watch the sunset. Great memories for our family and we will definitely be back!

The house was beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed. There are 3 adult couples and1 child in our group. Bedroom and bathroom layout worked great for us. The view from the patio was excellent.

Our family group of 8 had a wonderful time at Max and Mindy’s home. The house is beautiful, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. The location is perfect for exploring Orcas Island, and we loved sitting on the back deck gazing at the scenery after our busy days. The hot tub was a special treat after long hiking days. Six adults and one small Shitzu enjoyed this comfortable home with spectacular views to the west of Puget Sound. Both the inside and outside spaces were wonderful. We had 5 nights with beautiful sunsets over the water and were sad to leave. The house is well equipped for cooking and we took advantage of the spacious kitchen for breakfasts and most dinners. The location was great - up the mountain far enough to be away from the noises from Eastsound over the 4th of July weekend. It was still a short drive to town for shopping and conveniently located for a trip to Moran State Park for a picnic and a couple of hikes. It was also convenient for our Deer Harbor whale watching tour (highly recommended). The hosts were responsive to inquiries and the check out drill was less onerous than most of our other VRBO stays. Twelve thumbs up on this stay.

We really loved staying at this home. The owners were great and easily contacted when we had a very minor issue and couldn't reach the local property manager. It is a lovely home and very well stocked. Close to town and Moran State Park yet you feel secluded. Next time we come to Orcas we will definitely stay there again!

This Beautiful private Home was perfect for our Family of 6. We all had our privacy with the comforts of Home. This house was 100% equipped with everything we ever needed! The Hot tub was truly a great pleasure! The views from this Home are the most beautiful We have ever seen! Spectacular! We even saw a large pod of Orca Whales! The memories we made will last, until our next visit! We will be BACK!

The house and grounds are private and secluded. Stunning views of the ocean from the deck. Forested lands surround the property. kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, etc. Communication with the host was smooth and efficient. 10 minute drive to hiking and kayaking. Well worth the cost of the stay and the effort to get to the island!

We had a lovely time on Orcas Island and in this amazing home, which is quite spacious and fully stocked. There was not a single need that went unmet, and the views were even more outstanding than we anticipated. Very much hope to return one day.

Loved this house. Lots of room for teens to enjoy themselves as well as adults. Great hot tub and beautiful deck view. Close to town made it easy to get provisions. Only one TV in this large home - not a problem, just something to be aware of.

This 5 bedroom property in Eastsound is a dream come true for a large family wanted to vacation under 1 roof. There is sleeping space for 10 people (we had 3 couples and 4 kids). The large and private master bedroom suite on the main floor is absolute luxury, with a sauna, soaking tub, and big shower. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with queen beds, and 2 bedrooms with 2 twin beds each (joined by a bathroom). The one inconvenience is that one of the queen bedrooms does not have access to a bathroom without walking through the other queen bedroom or going downstairs to a hall half-bath. This may be a privacy issue for some folks. There is also a den upstairs as well as a bonus room for exercise, yoga, or just spreading out. The home is equipped with games and toys galor, especially a bunch of stuffed animals hidden hither and yon for the younger folks. The kitchen is large, very well equipped, and convenient for many cooks at the same time and the dining table can accommodate 12 people easily. There were dining room chairs for all. The views from the floor to ceiling windows look out over the sound and are breath-taking - even as the fog rolls in. Sunsets are also spectacular. There is a large hot tub that worked wonderfully and was absolutely clean. The home was spotless as we moved in, and the owners provide more towels and linens than I have ever seen in a vacation rental.

This property is everything it’s promised to be. Perfect for our three generations to enjoy being together. The home is very comfortable and well supplied. The sunsets on the deck were fabulous! The location was very convenient, too. Very close to town, yet secluded and private. Thanks to the owners for allowing us to enjoy their wonderful home!

It was my first time to San Juan Island and the entire experience took my breath away. The house was beyond stunning with crazy views that photos simply do not capture. The hosts were incredibly communicative and thoughtful. I cannot recommend this house enough. You will NOT regret your decision!!!

This is a wonderful home to enjoy a fun filled family vacation. The house is perfect. The view is spectacular. My husband and I stayed with some of our adult children and partners. It could have held our whole family ... I wish they'd all made it. We will be back. The home is very close to town, Crescent Beach, Moran State Park and Turtleback Preserve. It gave us the perfect mix of activity and relaxation. It was always a tough choice to do more hiking/biking/kayaking or head for the deck. The deck and hot tub usually won out. It is generously stocked with everything you need. There's plenty of space for family time/game time and privacy. This is probably one of the best houses we've rented anywhere.

This was the perfect house for a family trip. The house was well appointed and the kitchen was great for cooking meals together. The view was spectacular!! The location was quiet and secluded but close to grocery stores and shops. We had 3 generations ranging in age from 4 years to 70 years old. The children had plenty of games and toys to entertain them. We would rent this beautiful home again in a heartbeat!!
