Beautiful Looe cottage two minutes from the sea

We had a lovely time here. Cottage was a delight and very quiet. Beautifully furnished. Really close to beaches.

We had a wonderful time at Thrift cottage. It was spacious, comfortable, cozy and very quite. The beach was just down the stairs. And the beautiful Polperro, Talland Bay and Seaton Beach just a couple minutes drive away. Even if you want to visit Atlantic coast, like St. Ives or Newquay – it‘s only a one and a half hour/hour drive away. We travelled with friends who booked the house „Little oaks“ which was just two houses to the left of the five houses row. So that was just perfect! We would definitely come back.

Clean, cozy and well-equipped house with enough space for four people. The way to the beaches is not too steep and not too long. We really had a very good time in Looe and definitely want to return to Cornwall!

We so enjoyed our week at Thrifts Cottage… it’s a beautiful home from home that provided the perfect base for exploring surrounding areas.It was well appointed and extremely comfortable and cosy, only a few minutes walk to Millendreath beach which was great for a coffee and some fresh sea air!Would highly recommended

Good overall, but not made clear how tight the entrance to the property is and not clear where to park exactly, 9neighbour made it clear we were inconveniencing them. Heated towel rail not working and no fuses in property that matched this. Very steep path down to the nearest beach, slippery and no mention made of this in property description. Otherwise, a lovely clean and tidy well equipped cottage, just not in the nicest location (for us).

It was a perfect getaway for me and my family. So clean, and oh so peaceful. Easy walk to Millandreath beach. ❤️

What a cozy place to stay. Nothing was missing, best apartment equipment.

We have just spent a perfect week in 'Thrift Cottage' Everything we could have wanted or needed was provided on arrival and the cottage itself was in immaculate condition. We loved how close it was to the beach even though it was a few steps but it was well worth it. A bonus is the bakery at the end of the lane that does great pasties and cream teas

Delightful cottage. Very clean, Attention to detail. Spent hours admiring the painting in the living room! Great location. Family loved it. Our daughter spent hours in the summerhouse studying. Nearest beach is a short downhill walk. Coming back up takes a little longer as it's pretty steep. The cafe serves great food on the beach. Very friendly atmosphere. Dogs are only allowed on the beach. before 9am and after 6pm. Great walk in nearby woods if you have a dog. I would recommend this cottage highly. If I had to say something negative it would be you are overlooked in the back garden but overall it's near perfect. Everything worked.
