This 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom modern house with open floor plan is perfect for family gatherings. Enjoy your cup of coffee on the expansive screened porch nestled in the trees, or prepare your fresh local seafood feast in the well equipped kitchen.
If you know the Outer Banks, then you know that Ocracoke Island is the "Pearl" of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. This house is centrally located on a dead end street within walking/biking distance to everything in the village. Only a short bike ride or drive, and you will find yourself on one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. Also we are just a day trip away from Hatteras Island and Nags Head!
The master bedroom has a king and private bath. The second bedroom has a queen, twin trundle bed, and a twin mattress in loft. The third bedroom has a full bed. Linens are not provided but are available on the island for rental.
Gulf stream fishing is one of the more exciting activities you can experience on your Ocracoke vacation. If you plan to bring along your own boat, we can help coordinate deep water dockage in Silver Lake Harbor for an additional fee.

Suggestion: might want to consider a container with a pull system so everything doesn't have to be carried up the outside stairs.

This property is beautiful and perfect for a family. I was in town for a wedding and other wedding guests stayed elsewhere on the Island and this was by far the nicest accommodations. Very clean, beautiful porch and host is very responsive and helpful.

We loved this home— nice location and what an amazing screened in porch area!! We ate outside al fresco for all meals. Nice shade, breeze and perfect weather. Saw the sunrise and sunset. Had our golf cart delivered to the house and enjoyed our stay tremendously. The rooms were nice, my son loved napping on the loft area in one of the rooms. We played bingo and other board games on one of the rainy days— lots of games you could borrow. Overall communication was great with the host and we have no complaints. Excellent stay and highly recommend :)

not clean - had to clean the unit before we could stay - rewashed all the dishes one bowl had water and a potato chip between them -the kitchen and fridge wasn't clean he floor was dirty and toilets not cleaned

We loved the house- it was clean, spacious, great location, and all the built in storage was great for staying organized in packing and unpacking. The kitchen was well stocked too. But the best part might be the huge screened in porch.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The well equipped kitchen, gas grill, and screened in eating area made staying at the house for a meal a great option. Having 2 indoor and 1 outdoor shower was great for after the beach and there are plenty of games to play if we had a rain day.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay here during our time on Ocracoke. The house is very clean snd well organized with minimalistic decor that we found calming. The kitchen is also very well stocked. The neighborhood was quiet yet located within walking distance of the grocery/hardware store and close enough to the village that we walked our ride our bikes most places. Every place in town has bike racks. The lifeguard beach is about 1 1/2 miles away with plenty of parking and bathrooms. Truly a wonderful experience.

Perfectly located within walking/biking distance of restaurants and shops. The house itself is spacious with a modern feel to it. We enjoyed the large screened in porch and the games the house had to offer. We would recommend this house and host.

This was a nice house, we appreciated the open spaces and generous porch, the gas range was a real treat for our foodie family, bring some extra forks if your going to make this your family base of operations on the island like we did, a nonstick pan also, otherwise we will rent this place again for sure

Interesting property convenient to local attractions, but on a quiet street. Owner responsive, and the house was spotlessly clean. Well equipped kitchen and everything we needed was in the house. If you’re headed to Okracoke for a relaxing few days this is a stress free option. Beautiful island with marvelous beaches and low key atmosphere perfect for kicking back and chilling out.
