Well situated with great lake access. Very family friendly, can handle large crowd. Affordable.
The house is as shown in pictures. There is not internet, but there is satellite TV. It does not actually sleep more than 8 unless you rent the bunk room, which costs extra, but we did know this going into the reservation. The house was moderately/reasonably clean. There were some small things like moldy shower curtains, a dead wasp on the bed/window sills that were not enough to call the owner about but enough to notice. I had to contact the property manager when I could not get the door open (my own fault) and she was incredibly nice and helpful. When we arrived on a Saturday there was a notice from July from the local water treatment center posted on the refrigerator when we arrived saying the water was unsafe to drink so we bought all of our water until we called Monday and found out it was safe to drink. This was irritating but did not ruin the trip. The dock and cleaning station are great. Most of the kitchen/cooking utensils we needed were already there which was great. The furniture was all a little older/worn, which was not a big deal in the living room, but the beds were the same. Every single person in our group, including some young people with no history of back problems, all woke up with stiffness and back and/or hip pain everyday. Overall we enjoyed our stay but it would have been really elevated to a great trip if we could have gotten a good nights sleep and if we had known the water was potable from the start.
Beautiful views and a lot of space to spread out and enjoy a good weekend!
Had a blast with plenty of room. Fish all in the cove where the unit is.
Great place to stay! Great view of the lake!
If your looking to get away anf spend time with family, its the best
House was as described, view was better than expected! We had a great time.
Had the best time ever. Very nice house.
Awesome weekend get away
Family annual trip
Our stay was great! The place was clean and had everything we needed. Very relaxing and quiet. Great get away to recharge. Property manager was quick to respond to us with any questions we had. Will definitely plan on staying there again.
The house was perfect in every way. The location was great and the house had everything we needed. The adults and youth all enjoyed themselves. We will definitely book this property again.
Better then the pictures. We got there a hour early but called and they told us to go in. I brought my best friend and one of his sons. Two dudes in our 60’s and a 40 year old. I said that because we all felt like children. Eagles, catching perch and catfish off the peer, geese, late night fire pit and BBQing with beautiful weather. Just awesome. I have rented over a half a dozen VRBO camps in Toledo Bend. This one was the best! The camp was clean and easy to keep clean. Thank you Mrs. Candace and Mr. Kenneth. We needed it.
The house is great. The area is beautiful, but aside from the nearby Cypress Bend Park with its beach, there's virtually nothing to do in the area unless you have a boat and/or fishing gear. Can't even rent a canoe at the Park, or anywhere else in the vicinity. The house looks out on a beautiful inlet of the Sabine River, but without a boat of your own, you don't get to explore--frustrating that the paddle boat and dinghy right down at the water are not for guest use.
Georgeous view, very clean. Enjoyed out stay. However, we had rented a boat from Turtle Creek Lodge 2 months before coming and the day we are headed up there they call us to tell us there is no boat for us the next day. Stay here but do not rent from Turtle Creek.
Roomy well-kept house except the kitchen food prep area is cramped. Not having Wi-Fi access was a bit inconvenient as well. Overall everyone enjoyed our stay and would most definitely stay again

Had a very nice time hanging out with family at this property.
Enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room and the bunkhouse was great to have also for the teenagers. Nice views of lake, and nice pier.
Really enjoyed our stay, property is as advertised. Nice area very quiet but only 15 minutes from town. Fishing was good, we even caught a few catfish from the dock. Would definitely stay again
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very accomodating for a large group. My only complaints are the central A/C was not cooling and the grass was very long, but overall, a good place to stay. The view is beautiful. The owners respond very timely.
Family destination Thanksgiving with three generations. Plenty of room for everyone. Nice and relaxing.
It was a nice clean place. Everything worked really well. Plenty of room inside and out. Parking is not great if you have more than one boat but it is doable.
