This unit is the left side of a duplex but there is a fence separating the back yard for privacy.

Great place book through vacasa though Expedia and vrbro are just over charging. 10/10 will book again
You can tell this house has been rented alot from families with kids, there were several things broken, especially in the bunk room. We paid extra to bring our dog but it wasn't necessarily a dog friendly home besides the kennels and dog bowels. No fence in the back yard and it is right next to a busy road. The back door is very difficult to close fully and lock, and was not latching when we got there. Our dog (puppy) got out immediately and almost ran into traffic. The kitchen is poorly stocked. There were no seasonings, no non-stick pans or oil/spray, no colander, no toaster. The check out time is 10am, which is a hour earlier then any other place I've rented. The beach is only about a five minute walk which was nice, but there is a decently steep hill getting down and back up. The hottub was nice, but the top needs to be replaced and it would be nice if there was a rack or something to put it on, it was water logged and very difficult to remove and put back on. There was a large dinning room table, and the couch was very nice. There were several games and puzzles, but they were all mixed together and we couldn't find the pieces to play most of them. I think most of the issues are probably from previous poor renters but it also doesn't seem like there have been any efforts to fix anything.
We loved being close to ocean. Living room was really comfy.
Great location. Nice layout. Love the hot tub. The heater in the upstairs room with the baby crib did not work. Sink upstairs didn’t really drain. Front door was very sticky. Locks didn’t lock from inside.
We stayed for one week. Carpets were extremely dirty throughout house with large stains and dirt. Although they responded several times through chat they claimed a local service team would reach out to me and take care of it. I asked every day at the end of the day if they were responding. They assured me they would the next day every time. Never did. Hot tub had a layer of sand in the bottom and had very little chlorine. The picture of the front of the house is from when it was new or photoshopped.
Quick weekend beach getaway to celebrate my mom's birthday. Property was lovely and we had a great time.
We loved the access to beach trails and bike rides and how quiet the neighborhood and home was. The living room was cozy and the hot tub was a wonderful evening spot to gaze up at the stars. Was lovely to be able to bring family pet. The doors are difficult to lock and unlock and a strong perfume smell over bearing upon arrival. We opened windows and aired it out and was much better on day 2. Only 2 bikes were in useable shape so maintenance or replacement would be a great idea. We would go back for sure it held our family of 6 well.
Overall, great place, great location, and clean. It had all the amenities you'd need for a family minus a few small things. The walk to the main beach in Pacific City is just a few minutes, but they have bikes and scooters which was very nice. This place has a kid bedroom with enough to sleep 5 children and they have their own bathroom! Nice common area and the kitchen was great for making your own meals. It has a small, but decent hot tub, and the propane grill worked great for grilling. The negatives are no master bathroom, not very well stocked (laundry soap, spices, paper towels, garbage bags, can opener), and many of the doors didn't seem to lock or latch (e.g. pocket door to the bathroom didn't latch so you had to hold it while going to the bathroom, and the main door barely closed). We would stay here again.
The location is perfect and the house had everything it needed (except coffee). Really appreciated the fact that the hose had warm water to rinse my kiddo off. Upstairs got a little warm but opening windows helped.
Very nice and clean. Great location
We had way too many problems and terrible communication to get things fixed. We were there for 4 nights and by the end didn’t event bother telling Vacasa there wasn’t any propane for the grill when we needed it for dinner since it took us 2 days just to get an answer about where the dishwasher soap was and have them drop off washing machine soap. The stove top needed cleaning (smoked on us twice when we first turned it on), trundle bed upstairs was obviously dirty with hairs and debris, the bathroom sinks/bath didn’t drain, the kitchen utensils seem random and disorganized and overall the place lacked any care. This is my last time using Vacasa. Im not one to complain but here we are. I complained via text and didn’t get a response so now making sure others know. I’ve been a careful host for short term rentals and don’t usually complain but this was ridiculous. The 2 stars is for the neighborhood and having some bikes/scooters.
