Beautiful home with heated pool

Fabulous location, just a short walk to a beautiful clean beach. Very peaceful. The pool was lovely and perfect temperature. The house had everything we needed. Claude met us on arrival and was very helpful and friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this fantastic house with all the amenities we wanted inc pool to chill in. Perfect distance from numerous towns & beaches and easy to reach from St Malo ferry. Claude was very welcoming and on hand for any issues we might have had (though we had none). All up - brilliant!

We had a wonderful two weeks at Claude's property in August 2022. Claude himself was extremely welcoming on our arrival, patiently showing us around the property with the exciting children dashing about. He was contactable by mobile in the case of any issue (there were no issues). The property is not only spacious - but the decoration was exquisite, with attention to detail. The downstairs was a lovely space, with ample kitchen and dining area, as well as a chill zone with a comfortable sofa and chairs to watch television or relax. The fridge/freezer was very capacious, and also had a chilled water/ice cube dispenser, much used in the very hot weather! There was good wifi- both indoor and outdoor wifi provided, and usb charging stations for mobile phones etc. The bathrooms were very clean and showers excellent pressure. We liked the fact that the five towels provided were different colours so you could tell whose was whose. The bedrooms were comfortable and shutters so effective that we frequently slept in. This property is a short walk from a lovely beach (Plage de Saint Pabu). There is also lots of parking if you need to take the car with body boards, equipment etc. The location also suited us very well as it was so close to Erquy, Val Andre and Sable d'Or Les Pins, which are all favourites of ours. We discovered the Cap d'Erquy this year, with some amazing walks and beach, which is also a short drive away. We can't finish the review without mentioning the goats and chickens! Our youngest delighted in collecting the eggs each day, and as a family we all enjoyed collected dandelion leaves etc to feed to the livestock. The two goats and a sheep were real characters, with very strong personalities that were a delight to watch - it added to a very memorable holiday. The outside space is very nicely arranged: areas to relax and read with a drink, and of course the swimming pool. We swam every day and the children spent hours in the pool with inflatables (some kindly provided by Claude). It was an ideal pool for our youngest who is just beginning to swim, yet also a great pool for our teen to relax in. In summary, it looked almost too good to be true on the website, but it surpassed all our expectations. We would wholeheartedly recommend a stay at this property.

We had a brilliant holiday staying at this beautiful house. Perfectly appointed with just about everything you need for a trouble-free holiday. Generous bedrooms and bathrooms, spacious, modern kitchen, with the bonus of a large utility room and a huge living/dining room. Outside is spectacular - with the pictured pool and surrounding terraces, and the bonus of a huge grassed area, suitable for all manner of games and exercise. The house is located in a beautiful, tranquil area - no noisy neighbours here, just the peaceful sounds of the countryside. Then there is the bonus of the nearby beach, which is a lovely short stroll away. The owner, Claude Souillard, was kind and helpful at all times, and responded promptly to our queries. We were a party of 6, covering three generations, and we all had the most wonderful time. The area is stunning and this house is glorious.

The perfect holiday home, everything you need right on hand, great kitchen, very nicely decorated throughout, perfect entertaining area and lovely garden and pool. We enjoyed our stay immensely, any slight hiccups or problems that arose were dealt with quickly, hope to come again next year. Thank you Claude

We had a lovely stay and the house accommodated our large party (2 x adults/2 x adult children plus 13 and 5 year and 6 month old) well. The house has mostly what you need, decor may not be to everyone's taste but we thought it was quite fun. Some of the house contents, bed linen, towels and outside seating is now quite tired and in need of updating. There were also no steps up to the high bed which was a little tricky. The pool was lovely and perfect for the 5 year old. Owner was very helpful and accommodating. Overall we had a great time, although could be improved with some general maintenance and updating.

The house had plenty of room inside. Everything was modern and very clean. The most enjoyable part of the stay was the pool area. The heated pool was enjoyed every day.
