You are invited to enjoy your vacation or trip to this wonderful vacation area in this immaculate and very spacious newly remodeled Colorado house with spectacular panoramic views of the Front Range, Pikes Peak and the United States Air Force Academy. This custom large three-bedroom house provides comfortable, high-end accommodations for six people. The large deck facing the mountains is the perfect place for enjoying the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, watching the amazing hummingbirdsin the summer, taking in the awesome view of Pikes Peak, barbecuing, riding the exercise bike, soaking in the hot tub under starlit skies (spring, summer or fall), or just sitting on the porch swing enjoying the fresh mountain air and tall pines on the private one-acre treed lot. You might even see a few deer coming up the driveway and through the forest area surrounding the house. The kids will love the play house nestled in the trees. Since the house is less than three miles from I-25, it is stress free to be on your way to the Air Force Academy, Denver, Colorado Springs or the mountains to experience all the wonderful area attractions.

The open concept, exceptionally large rooms are perfect for enjoying time together in front of the gas fireplace, playing games, watching television, and cooking and enjoying meals together in the kitchen/dining room area (easily seats 12) or on the deck. The bedrooms are large and all have living areas for private time. The third bedroom even has a Relax-the-Back chair. If someone needs to work, there is a comfortable, large office and WIFI is free and available 24 x 7. All linens are provided as well as a newly remodeled and convenient laundry room. If you have special little ones, a Pack & Play is available and there is plenty of room an inflatable mattress in the third bedroom if you need an extra bed for a child.

The kitchen is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances and all the conveniences of home. The lights will be on and there will be coffee, tea and chocolates ready for you upon arrival.

When we moved here from Minneapolis in 2009, we could hardly believe we found the perfect house in a quiet, private area nestled among tall pines with such spectacular views of the Front Range, Pikes Peak and the Air Force Academy. The house had a WOW effect on us, and it continues to have the same effect on everyone who visits.

Because of the high elevation (7500 ft.), forested area, and the wonderful mountain breezes, air conditioning is seldom needed, but the house has central air-conditioni for those especially warm summer days.

We feel confident that you will enjoy your time in this vacation home. We look forward to meeting you and sharing this wonderful Colorado-style house with you. It is truly our wish that your time in this area will be a blessing and a wonderful memory.

Arrived as the owners were leaving and was so delighted to meet them! They gave us a quick tour and a couple tips before they left. Our group included a baby - pack and play, booster seat and lots of toys and books made his stay enjoyable. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook meals - condiments were provided in the fridge. We loved the open layout and gorgeous deck views. We visited several local attractions within reasonable driving distance. Walmart was less than 10 minutes away.

7 of us stayed at this property, and it was wonderful. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, and take great pride in caring for their home. The location was great to get to all the local attractions, yet we still felt secluded in the mountains/woods. We saw a mule deer nearby, loved the hot tub and views, and the house had toys/legos for our 3 kids which they loved. The treehouse was a huge highlight for the kids as well, who played there for hours during the trip. There was a brief issue with AC which the hosts personally addressed asap. We'd definitely stay here again!

We stayed here with our smaller family group of 6 people for our daughter’s graduation from the U.S. Air Force Academy 2024. The house is beautiful, clean, has every amenity, and is in the perfect location with amazing views. The hot tub was nice after a long, busy day, the well equipped kitchen and bbq grill made it easy to eat at home, and the wifi and cable TV kept us entertained during our (scarce) free time. Sharon and Larry were fantastic hosts who were readily available, friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend this property and would like to revisit again in the future.

We had an incredible stay at this house for our son’s 2023 Air Force Academy Graduation. I would actually say the description of the house does not do it justice. Tons of space to spread out, and great little touches throughout. Open kitchen (that was very well stocked) enabled us to cook and gather between graduation events. Huge master bath and closet. The deck, grill, and outside seating were amazing. Tons of parking for all! Overall, we can not have asked for a better house to celebrate his graduation!

We wanted a house with a view of Pike's Peak for Parents Weekend, and this delivered with the added bonus of a view of the Academy. Very quiet neighborhood and convenient to the North Gate. Extremely well-equipped house, particularly with all the cookware. The owners were super-helpful and friendly, even walking me through a minor issue with the hot tub. The house has a definite vacation feel, which we and our cadet greatly appreciated.

We stayed at this fabulous home for a week, visiting the area for our son's USAFA graduation. Sharon and Larry were just amazing - communicative, caring, and thoughtful. We were only sorry we didn't get to meet them in person! Everything was truly spectacular, and we are so grateful for the experience.
