Beautiful Home On A High Bluff Overlooking Lake Mich! Sept 12-18 just opened!

The home was beautiful and the amenities were as listed. The view of Lake Michigan was beautiful as well.

Beautiful home with a spectacular view. There were 7 of us and we all had plenty of space. Definitely would return.

Beautiful location, home has a great layout and would definitely stay there again. We also took part in a lot of what Ludington had to offer and had a great time.

Perfect place for family vacation even if only to chill at the beautiful house all day, stay in jammies, enjoy the monarch butterflies, deer and bald eagles....and esp watch the unbeatable sunsets. Only gripe, which no one can really help: it's early 'gnat' season, end of summer/early fall in michigan, and they permeated all over the kitchen in huge swaths. Used the vacuum to get rid of them when we were making food/dinner, and left out fruity drinks to get them gathered and toss them out. But, what you gonna do? They ooze in through the tiny window screen grids. As long as you're not a freak about gnats flying around, and your mother in law who hates any and all bugs doesn't panic, you're golden. Everything else was beautiful and comfortable. Thank you Heidi and Wayne, it was perfect especially to introduce my Kansas BFF to her first time visiting michigan.

Amazing view! Loved the long porch with many chairs for everyone. The fire pit was furnished with many chairs also. The sunsets were amazing. Access to the beach was very close by. Because the house is situated on a high dune I wouldn’t have small children there. Perfect for adult gathering. House was comfortable and clean.

Overall the property was nice and fit my family and friends for my wedding weekend perfectly. The best part of the property and a main reason I booked it was the amazing views of the water. The neighborhood was quiet and easy to get to and the owner was available to answer any questions. One thing to note and this could have just been my phone but I didn’t have service and had to be on wifi in order to have any type of service. No fault to the owner but just a thing worth noting for future guests so they aren’t surprised at the lack of service.

The view was spectacular. The house was updated and well maintained. The neighborhood was quiet. Deer liked to stroll in the backyard. Walking distance to White Pine Village. A quick drive to Buttersville Park beach which was not crowded at all. We enjoyed our week immensely.

We had a small family gathering with our adult children. The view of Lake Michigan was amazing. The property is quiet and very relaxing. The house was super clean and well done.We enjoyed the location being close to Ludington with plenty to do. We will definitely consider this again.

This place was great, and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful accommodations with a fantastic view!

The house is absolutely gorgeous and very cozy! We will 100% be staying there again. Check in and check out were a breeze. The house was very clean and very comfortable. It really felt like home away from home:)

Before I talk about the house and property, I commend the ease and promptness of communication with Heidi, the home owner. She was pleasant and helpful with all questions and communications. The home was clean and nicely decorated. The back wall of the home was all windows, giving you a beautiful view of Lake Michigan, no matter where you were on the first floor. The beds in all of the bedrooms were comfortable and lent to very restful sleep, especially if you opened a window and listened to the waves hitting the beach.the kitchen was well stocked with flatware and cookware. There was a nice sized fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs and there were Duraflame starters supplied to make starting a fire very easy. We enjoyed two evenings of fires with a beautiful view of the moon reflecting on the lake. We had visitors daily from a brood of deer that seemed to live nearby. The drive to Ludington was a short 10 minute drive. So, grocery stores, drugstores and restaurants as well as shops and galleries were nearby. All of those things lead to a fantastic vacation on the shore of Lake Michigan. We highly recommend this wonderful property and are grateful to Heidi for sharing her home with us. we stayed for my mom's 70th birthday. It was a beautiful home with a beautiful view. The house was great. It was clean and well stocked with what is needed in the kitchen. There were goodies like local treats in the kitchen and soaps for the bathroom. The firepit was great. We spent a lot of time outside. We used the grill. The beds were comfy. The beach close by was lovely, and when we went we almost had it all to ourselves. It was off-season so it was challenging at times to find shops and restaurants. Hosts were very helpful in that regard. It was a great stay; sure we'll return.

We really enjoyed our stay - our first visit to Lake Michigan and the sunsets around the fire pit were by far the highlight of the trip. The house is very well outfitted with everything we needed to be able to cook during our stay. The beds were very comfortable and my kids enjoyed the ping-pong table downstairs.

We went to Ludington for an annual friends trip. The house is wonderful and adequately stocked for our needs. The view of Lake Michigan is gorgeous. The owner is great to work with. We will be back. Thank you, Heidi.

This was our second year in a row staying in this beautiful house. It has everything you need for a wonderful vacation experience. Sitting on the back deck overlooking the expanse of Lake Michigan is so wonderfully beautiful and peaceful! It is a great place to have a fun, chill getaway!

The views are stunning, from the moment you walk into the house. Loved the back porch and the fire pit. Spent many the hour just sitting and enjoying the sound of the waves and the views from the cliff overlooking Lake Michigan!

We had such a great time staying at Wayne and Heidi’s gorgeous home in Ludington. The house is very clean and comfortable, with plenty of space to sleep and relax to enjoy the incredible view of Lake Michigan. Heidi was lovely to work with and very easy to reach over during our stay. I highly recommend this property!

We had the best time this past week in Ludington. Our house had amazing views of Lake Michigan and plenty of room for our whole family. We can’t wait to visit again.

We are a group of 3 middle-aged adult sibling and spouses/significant others, no kids. We enjoyed being 10 minutes from everything in downtown Ludington, yet far enough away to feel private and at a get-away. The owners are great to communicate with and made good on all they advertised. We all felt it was clean, very comfortable, well-appointed throughout, beautiful yet casual. When not in town we like to hang out and socialize. The comfortable couches, large dining table, spacious, cobweb-free waterfront porch and of course the large firepit gave us plenty of options to chill and chat. There is also nook-spaces to have a little solitude or private time. Lake Michigan provided a beautiful scene all day and night. Watching boats, the local ferry to Wisconsin (Badger), ships, ducks and gulls, gorgeous sunsets and morning fog, and even an awe-inspiring lightning show one evening. Even the wildlife was great. We had a couple deer mosey through the backyard early one morning and dozens of dragonflies buzzing around the backyard eating what few mosquitoes existed during the afternoon. We travel a lot and are ones who will say when something is bad or not up to our standards. Eminence exceeded our standards and made our family gathering perfect in all the ways a location can. We all highly recommend it.

Property had a ring camera on the back porch that was not disclosed to us beforehand. The camera made noise every time we passed it saying we were on camera. Disappointing because we mostly hung out in the backyard and now we know we may have been watched the whole time. Hosts admitted to us after the fact that they were unaware the camera's notifications were turned on. Hosts also charged us $50 after the fact an additional tip for their cleaner on top of the cleaning fee paid at the time of booking.
