This is a great property with many amenities. It was very clean and well appointed.
We had our children from Florida stay with us and on Friday my 5 other children came for a Thanksgiving dinner. This was a perfect place for everyone to enjoy a family gathering. A wonderful time for my wife and I
Nothing really wrong, just that the beautiful property was kinda junky. The guest house was musty, didn't use. The pool was lovely.
Good overall speaking. But in July with 105+ degree temperatures were too hot to use hot tub to call mgmt for access. Pool was refreshing. Enjoyed catfish pond. The acreage was secluded enough to enough watching wildlife and the meteor showers that weekend.
Our stay was nice. The home was beautiful an the kids loved to swim and did so a lot. The cell reception is iffy in certain locations. We were given a code for the front door but not for the front gate so upon arrival our three cars were stranded on the road until I could reach someone. I had to leave and go to the top of the hill for cell reception. Not a great way to start but the vacation was good. For a vacation rental it needs a few extras like better bath towels, the ones there seemed old. A clearer listing of what available in the kitchen would be nice as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
The kids loved the pool and being able to use the cabin as the “Kids Cabin”. They are already asking when we will be coming back. The pool is set so that evening swims are shaded from the Texas sun.
Property is overgrown and not well cared for. Leaves covered the bottom of the pool with no sweeper nor service to take care of it. Cobwebs throughout the home. Food and debris under couch and chairs. Ant infestation in kitchen. The “1/2 bath” is a toilet only. Definitely not what we were expecting. Disappointing girls’ weekend.
