Enjoy the excellent swimming opportunities on the extensive beaches along the North Sea as well as the clear swimming lake 'Skavemosen' with fine sandy beach, which is especially recommended for guests with small children. In the area between Ringkøbing and Nissum Fjord you will find many artisans and art galleries, where you are welcome to see and touch the working workshops. It is 18 km to Ringkøbing and about 8 km to Thorsminde, where you can buy fresh fish at the harbor. You might also make a day trip to Legoland or Århus.
