Beautiful Craftsman home near C-Street for you and your pets!

The older home was unique and loved the wood details inside. Home needs some repairs and special attention. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean but common areas needed deep cleaning.

I am baffled at the ‘Exceptional’ reviews. We are not happy with our stay, or the condition of this house. We got a text message as we were pulling into the driveway of the property listing all the things that weren’t working. This list came nowhere near the amount of issues we saw. Had we known this before pulling up, we would have stayed somewhere else. 1. Almost no appliances are usable. 2. Cockroaches are ALL over outside. 3. The lounge chairs upstairs in the master bedroom are filthy and stained. 4. The downstairs couch smells like cat urine. 5. The house is clearly being renovated, and the people who are renovating it, are doing a terrible job. 6. When you sit down to use the restroom upstairs, there is a GAP in the wall and you actually SEE the downstairs. My son could see me using the restroom! It was awkward and incredibly uncomfortable moment. 7. Where this neighborhood is located, is NOT as advertised. I’m not even joking when I say, the neighbors were outside mowing the lawn, IN A THUNDERSTORM at 10pm. Two blocks over, there are hookers and homeless people walking around. The reviews for this property are either bots, or someone was paid to say these things. Expedia should investigate this property and the people who run it.

The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed, even nice chopping knives. It only has a drip coffee maker so we brought our own Keurig. The heat worked great! It was COLD while we were there but never inside.

The house was very clean and welcoming. Juliet took the time to set a Christmas tree up for us. Loved the kitchen layout and the fenced in back yard. Very short walk to downtown shopping area that kept us busy for a while.

House was very clean and well lit when we arrived. Door lock and code was easy to use. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Would've appreciated a real door in upstairs bathroom. Heat worked great. Decorated Christmas tree in the living room was a nice festive touch. We didn't cook or buy groceries so can't comment on that, however, the kitchen appeared to have what you'd need. Lots of nice clean towels in bathrooms. Would like to let you know upstairs tub had a constant faucet leak despite not being used by us. Driveway is steep and could make lower cars bottom out.

We just stayed with our pups while visiting Springfield for a week in October. The house was plenty large enough and had everything we needed for a long stay. The fenced in yard was a nice touch for letting the dogs out unsupervised. Would stay again when in the area if available.

3rd time staying here...great host and very clean home

The house is very charming. My cousin loved the library. We all are appreciative of the box fans in the loft and bedroom downstairs. I think most travelers like having that white noise when staying in a place they aren't used to. The backyard and patio are nice with a lighted area. Great for the pup. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms are all very nice and clean. The host was very easy to communicate with and addressed any immediate needs. We loved our stay there and would definitely stay again if we are in that area.

Thank you for the pet friendly accommodations. Our dogs loved running around the back yard trying to catch squirrels. We had a lovely time.

We had a wonderful stay at this home! The home was great, well-stocked, and exactly as described. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the living spaces were perfect for relaxing after a day out.

The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. She wants people to enjoy her property!

The host is super sweet. She went above and beyond. I had to rent a wheel chair due to us forgetting mine at home. The return day was on a Monday and we were leaving Sunday. She had my wheel chair taken back. She also mailed a little of our clothes we forgot in the dryer. Her home is beautiful too. This old house has all the original from the hardwood floors to trimmings yet has a modern twist.

100 year old home in excellent condition. Original woodwork is so gorgeous.The host has great taste in comfortable furniture. The kitchen is well stocked and we had plenty of clean towels and bedding. Also, the air-conditioning works great and was much appreciated considering the outside temperature hovered around 100 degrees. We also were able to enjoy the patio thanks to the large shade trees.We couldn't have chosen a rental with a better location, we were just a few minutes from the zoo and Pythian Castle.Thank you, Julian for being such a great host.

This house was perfect for my family. We were in town for an event at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. This house was close to the fairgrounds with easy access. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our week long stay. The owner always responded quickly to any questions we had. The neighborhood was quiet. We will stay here again in future trips.

My family stayed for just the weekend when I was in the area for a race. This home was perfect for our group plus my pups! Great location, perfect space, beautiful backyard. Juliet was very responsive any time I had a question…even when we checked out and forgot something inside the home. This home was so beautiful and unique. Easy to get to. Easy entry. Ms. Mee the owner was top notch to work with. Phoned to verify all was great. Recommend her home for a family good time. 5 plus stars on everything. Lots of natural light and roomy. Would use her home again. Graduation week and needed room and place to cook. Perfect for all of us to enjoy our time together.

This house offered plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 kids to spread out. The upstairs bathroom was a little awkward but functional. The house was clean and had everything we needed. It was nice to save some money on meals by being able to cook instead of eating every meal out.

House was just as described, reminded me of my grandmother’s house with a modern flare. Clean house, great location- close but not too close. Great communication from Juliet. Highly recommended!

A couple of our team members stayed at this home during the 2025 Springfield Boat Show for the second time. The house was has been re-done, has a great layout and is very clean. It’s close to the Empire Fairgrounds. We’ll be renting it again!

Really nice house overall; cozy and warm in the winter. The property manager was very accommodating and super nice! The only thing I would say is that, while the backyard is nice, the fence had a few holes in it that small dogs could easily get out of. The neighborhood was okay, but there was a large construction project at the end of the street.

Our host was great we had text her in the late evening about the outside lights not working and she was fast to respond and fast to fix the issue, she also was very attentive to our stay. We appreciated her hospitality so much! Our 2 boys (11/12) were a little unsure of the house because of its age but 1 hour into our stay they loved it and so did we. So much charm in old homes. Thank you!

Beautiful older home with many nice upgrades. Very clean inside. The dryer has a loud squeak that needs attention, otherwise, we had a very nice stay.

Response time was prompt. Easy check-in. Home is warm and welcoming. Plenty of open space. Decor is on point. Pet friendly. Quiet neighborhood. Historic home with a modern touch. Our daughter loved it. It was peaceful to have the upstairs bedroom windows open and fall asleep listening to the rain.

The house was beautiful and super comfy! I stayed here with friends for a wedding on C Street and the location was perfect. Host was super helpful and responsive. We had a great time!

A little loud outside but a nice house with a beautiful yard.

Property was nice for the most part; just a few things that could be cleaned or fixed to make it really nice. Neighborhood wasn't great and there is a large construction project at the end of the block that started working at 5:00 am and was very loud. We were in town for a funeral and needed a place we could bring our 2 small dogs. This was perfect for that. I would stay again under the same circumstances. If we were coming for a vacation, i would probably look elsewhere just because of the neighborhood. It worked great though for what we needed.

Is it an older house? Yes...thats the charm. Is it an older neighborhood? Yes...its springfield. Did we feel safe? YES. We couldnt have asked for an easier place to stay with our small dog...very charming.

The 100 year old home was clean and organized. Everything we needed was there. We brought our dog so when we were there, we spent most of our time on the back patio. The only thing I would change is to blow off the back patio, get outside yard lights and clean up a fallen tree that was covered in poison ivy. Great price. in Oisin ivy.

We stayed in Springfield to move one of children into College. We enjoyed our stay in the home, and the amenities provided. Our dogs enjoyed having the large backyard to run and play while we relaxed on the patio. The owner was very responsive to our needs. We would stay again.

The house is gorgeous! The host is also very sweet. The back yard is like a secret garden. Close to everything we wanted to do.

We stayed for a conference in Springfield. The house was very clean, well maintained, safe, and comfortable. Lots of little extras were very sweet. The host made check in very easy and we didn't need to contact them while there, but responded immediately when I let her know we were leaving. It was a great set up for what we did and had everything we needed.
