The setting on the East Verdi river was excellent. The cabin was spacious, clean and fully equipped. We didn't want to leave and look forward to returning.
Great location, had fun playing in water and exploring with the kids. Ran crawfish traps and made a delicious Alfredo. Huge perk was the playground/small park directly adjacent to rental. The kitchen was minimally stocked so if you plan to cook be sure to bring you own seasonings, critical utensils, etc.
This cabin was great and the setting very beautiful and peaceful. Comfortable inside and out, we loved listening to the river below and the cicadas above and identifying the elk sounds from a friendly resident at the park. We enjoyed quiet nature walks by the river and preferred staying on the patio and reading a book instead of going anywhere, which was our whole point in getting out of the city! We went from stressed to refreshed in a few days. We hope to return here again!
The location is exactly what we were looking for. It was so nice to sit by the river and get out of the Phoenix heat. Cabin could have been cleaner, but overall it was great!
We had a great time staying in the river. We spent hours out in the breeze enjoying the sounds and the view. We were visited by an eagle and hawks during our stay. We plan to return in the near future!
This property was clean and neat inside. We all loved to sit in the back patio area and enjoyed the sounds of the water, birds and sounds of nature. This was just what we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and residents we met were very friendly as we took leisurely walks around neighborhood.
It was a beautiful home and perfect for me and my baby to stay at while my girl scouts were at a nearby camp. A great place to stay if you can’t stay at the girl scout camp. Everything was setup so beautifully and it felt very much like home just with a better view and surroundings!
Everything about the river cabin was perfect. No better way to start your day then sitting on the back porch enjoying coffee watching the river
My husband and I chose to stay here for a week for our honeymoon. We had run into some trouble getting to the cabin (if the GPS tells you to take an unpaved mountain road, DO NOT do it!). Stacy (property manager) was an absolute dream and helped us out so much. The owners even left a plant for us as a wedding gift. Very thoughtful people. The cabin is very clean and the neighborhood is very quiet. If you want to get away, this is definitely the place. Just be aware that while the internet is fine, cell phone service is almost nonexistent (we use AT&T). We will be returning as often as possible. When our days get too hectic, my husband and I will look at each other and just say Beaver Creek. It's our new home away from home.
Turning 60 and building snowmen not a bad little vacation. Beautiful area lots to see and lots of trail we will be back.
