We had a great time having our whole family (kids, parents, grandparents) in one cabin for the weekend for our visit to the Polar Express. An absolute favorite was the outdoor area with the almost full wrap around porch, hot tub, and fire pit. We all had plenty of space to spread out to either enjoy playing (kids) or having a few quiet, relaxing moment (adults). The house was well stocked, and it was great for those of us who arrived late to have the outdoor lights on since the driveway is steep. The only word of caution I would give to anyone staying with small kids - do not let them wander out front by themselves as the front yard does drop off. Other than that - the cabin is a perfect place to relax for the weekend without needing to go anywhere else. I'd highly recommend staying here!

We had a great trip with our 3 children and four grandchildren. The house was very comfortable for all of us and everyone enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. It was easy for us to get to Bryson City to ride the Polar Express. The home owner is very friendly and accommodating.

Absolutely one of our favorite homes we've ever stayed in It was perfect for our kids and grandkids and we loved having the hot tub and fire pit on the back deck with fences to contain the children The screened in porch was a favorite and the home was so cozy and clean Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone The driveway is very steep but we had no issues

We enjoyed our stay especially the fire pit and hot tub area. There was a lot of room to spread out. There was plenty of sitting room for the whole family and room to eat together inside. My only complaint was that the screen porch could use a hosing off to freshen it up and remove debris from boring bees.

We had an incredible weeklong stay. Photos don't do this property justice-we spent most of our time (when we were there) on the screened in porches and ate our meals outside. It's super quiet and very peaceful, except for the boring bees that are plentiful outside, but are only trying to get to their holes. We even saw an Elk walking behind the property one day!The final part of the driveway is a little spooky if you don't have 4WD, but it's definitely doable. The owner was fantastic and made sure our visit was exceptional! The kitchen is well stocked. They are very generous with paper towels, dish/clothes soap, and towels, but make sure you bring your own bath soap, shampoo and conditioner. Lots of room in the house to spread out when we each wanted a bit of alone time.We definitely recommend staying here and would gladly book again!

Not very motorcycle friendly with the drive way but we had some good drivers. The water pressure was not good when the other showers were in use.

We were a family of ten (6 adults/4 teenagers) and it was more than spacious for us. We had a fantastic stay. The house was equipped with everything we needed. We used the fire pit inside and outside, and the jacuzzi is definitely a must. If you are looking for a quiet place, this is it. You don’t really see anyone around. Few things to consider: driveway is very steep; we had a lot of lady bugs inside, but it didn't bother us; upstairs is pretty warm - make sure to adjust the thermostat. I would go grocery shopping before getting to the house. Overall, house was homey and beautiful.

The view of the house are amazing. This house will not disappoint. We enjoyed the the night fires, sunsets in the hot tub with Mountain View’s, and the morning coffees on the screened in porch. And the Owner Connie is very helpful and friendly.

We loved the house. The owner was very easy to contact and so quick to fix the one issue we had. I really enjoyed my stay and so did the rest of my family.
