Beautiful Berkshire Farm House on 160+ Acres

This was our second year staying here. It comfortably fit our party of 15 people and is relatively close to various ski areas and towns. It’s a very comfortable home with a hang out area, and the kids love the basketball court in the barn. There are a few updates the house could use, but it seems like the hosts are slowly renovating areas to update. The hosts are very responsive as well, which we appreciate.

What a great home and property! Our large three-generation group had a fantastic summer vacation in the Berkshire Farm House. The kitchen is large and well equipped to prepare meals for the group. The bedrooms were all comfortable and clean. The huge property was lots of fun to explore -- the kids found a deep swimming hole down on the river. But best of all, the hosts are so friendly and helpful!

Simply an amazing property! We were a group of three families enjoying the 4th of July weekend and this property was more than we imagined. Communication with property owners was friendly, clear and prompt. If anything the property listing and details understated how wonderful this property was for a large group. The barn and stream provided hours of entertainment for our gaggle of young children. The property is well maintained and the kitchen was so well stocked/supplied. Our entire group absolutely raved about this property and many of us our planning our next trips to Western MA simply to enjoy the property again. Amazing!

This is a wonderful property for people of all ages. The house has plenty of space to hang out in, and the barn that has been converted into a full-size gymnasium provided hours of entertainment. The grounds are beautiful. We’ve been here 7 or 8 times at this point and really love it. Easy access to Great Barrington and the hosts are great about communicating.

Fantastic find in a great area. All the rooms were comfortable and well stocked. The property is serene and the bonus barn court was a huge hit, especially when it was snowing or a bit too cold.

We had a wonderful time -- the bedrooms were so comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and when we got snowed in, the owners and neighbors were incredibly helpful. Thank you!

The house was great. Plenty of bedrooms to fit our party of 16 (mix of kids and adults). Very comfortable hang out spaces and places to play games. The barn with the basketball court was awesome also! We got a lot of use out of that. The house was clean and everything worked well except that the dishwasher was broken. That was unfortunate, but these things happen, and we made due. The owner said that it would be fixed in a week or so, so hopefully not an issue for anyone else. Owner was responsive to queries.

This was our second group visit to the Berkshire Farm House, and we plan to go back again! That fact says it all.

Our family recently stayed at this incredible vacation rental to celebrate a grandparent’s birthday, and it was truly the perfect setting for a special gathering. With 6 adults and 6 children under the age of 7, finding a place that could comfortably accommodate all of us was no small task—but this property exceeded every expectation. The location was ideal, with easy accessibility for family members traveling from different parts of the country and a manageable drive from Hartford airport. Nestled on a sprawling 160-acre property, the space was a dream for both kids and adults. The farmhouse chic main house was both stylish and functional, offering a variety of sleeping arrangements to suit everyone. The kids especially loved the loft and bunk beds, which became their own little hideaway. One of the highlights was the property’s sport court in the barn, which kept the kids entertained for hours. Exploring the nearby river and meeting the goats on the property added even more magic to the experience. Mealtimes were seamless with ample room to prepare and enjoy family dinners together. And while the property offered so much to do, we also loved how close it was to the charming town of Great Barrington, MA—a perfect spot for an afternoon adventure. Our only regret was not having more time to explore the expansive grounds and woods. With 160 acres to wander, we barely scratched the surface of this beautiful property. The house was spacious and comfortable for our large group (13 people). The basketball court in the barn was a lot of fun.

We had 13 people from 3 families in the area for a 3 day weekend and had a great stay. Plenty of space for everyone, and the property was well equipped. It is a beautiful home and unique property in a wonderful location. We were there during a heat wave, and it was a bit hot during the day but cooled down at night (and they house has plenty of fans).
