Beautiful beachfront house w/ stunning views, free WiFi, & outdoor shower

House and location were fabulous! Very clean and spacious. But communication with Vacasa was terrible. Took a long time to answer and didn't listen to what I was saying. 5 stars for house but one star for communication

Stunning waterfront location with plenty of space. Back staircase down to the beach appears to need some maintenance. They sway quite a bit. The only other note is that the final night of our stay there was a massive crash in the early morning hours. The large, heavy mirror over the sofa fell off the wall (to say it gave us a fright would be an understatement). The picture hanger wire on the back had broken but upon looking, it appears it has fallen a number of times as there were a number of holes on the mirror in the same area it broke. This is horribly dangerous! We had a toddler traveling with us and had the mirror fallen while he was on the sofa it could have seriously injured, if not killed him (or us). I notified the property manager and I sincerely hope they reconsider hanging it again because it is an otherwise gorgeous property!

Beautiful!! The views are amazing. It had plenty of dishs, pot and pans, and utensils. Neighbors are very nice. Not big crowds, got to see surfers and dauphins. It was very clean. I have found my favorite place to visit.

We had an absolute blast at this beachfront vacation house! The views were spectacular! The house was comfortable and perfectly situated to enjoy the beach. There's plenty of @2couldn’t have asked for a better spot to relax and make memories. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a dreamy coastal escape!

Numerous Cockroaches !! no can opener, no pot holders, bathroom exhaust doesn’t work, mattresses not comfortable at all. Other than that, it was fine.

I have used VRBO to book our MANY family vacations for over 6 years now. I have never had a bad experience, nor gave a bad review until now. This property is managed by Vacasa. Upon arrival, the first thing we noticed is how close you are to the water. This little island is beautiful and we were so excited! As we carried our luggage up the stairs we were greeted by 2 large Palmetto Cockroaches. Because the were outside we initially brushed it off. Entering the property it was okay, furniture in the living room needs a MAJOR upgrade as does the Mattress in both of the rooms that lead out onto the deck. Kitchen is minimally stocked. The home had a weird musty smell. At the time I felt the location and views made up for it.... until we started seeing german cockroaches- In all areas of the home. As we inspected further we noticed mold, possibly black mold, coming out of the vents in the bedroom. Water damage was noted on the return air vent right near the washer/dryer area. The washer had mold as well and needs to be DEEP cleaned asap! Our internet was out several times we were there. Most of the lights(lamps) and TVs were unplugged when we arrived which was odd. The bed frame is one room is broken- we ended up sleeping on an air mattress. The stairs leading to the beach are seriously scary. They need repair asap. The are not propertly installed and are on the verge of failure. This place needs some major TLC. We packed up with our infant 2 days after arriving.

Property size was great. Love location. We did see several roaches. Kitchen could use more utensils. Our overall stay was a great experience.

It was a wonderful stay. The cushioned chairs on the deck and powered leather recliners in the house were so comfortable. The view was awesome, seeing dolphins right off the shore and watching the pelicans dive for fish.

Awesome in every way, but please invest in toaster that works and a basic can opener. Loved everything else!

This house was beautiful with an amazing view ! It was our first trip to the island and loved everything about it ! The house was comfortable and accommodated our group of 12! The porch was great , well furnished and locked ! The grandkids had a blast ! We do feel the house had a few maintenance issues ,the rusted out of commission outdoor shower( had old water hose) squeaking bunk beds, no working blender or scissors and the need for serving bowels for 12 but overall it was probably our best beach trip ever !

The location was everything we wanted, truly on the beach. The layout of the house, size of bedrooms and bathrooms was great. Plenty towels. The kitchen comes up short. The stove needs to be replaced, the fridge is close behind it. There is a really nice waffle iron there, and plenty dishes and silverware. Skillets not so great. The outside shower is a water hose. But even though there were some disappointments we all had a good time.

Overall we loved our stay with the house clean and right on the beach and the perfect size for 6 adults and 6 kids. We did have lots of problems getting in/out of the driveway, often getting stuck in the sand that was very deep and having to push vehicles out. We also did not have any satellite throughout the entire stay which was reported the first night and someone came to check but was unable to fix at that time and we never heard back. The back deck stairs also move a lot when walking up/down and appear as if they need more support. Finally we had very strange power issues where the lights and appliances would go in/out like we were going to lose power for the last two days. We first thought this was a wind issue but no other houses around us had the same problem. We did enjoy our stay but it seems as if the house could use some maintenance.
