The condo was right on the bay like described and a short walk to Rogue Brewery! The sunset was beautiful with the bridge view. It was very clean when we arrived.

Location can't be beat! Walking distance to Rogue Brewery/Spirit House, crabbing on the pier, the aquarium & the beach. Condo was clean & guest services were excellent! Only bad was window cushion & sofa bed were really, really uncomfortable! We would gladly rent this property again!

This property was pretty on the outside, close to the aquarium, Rogue Brew Pub and within walking distance of the bay and marina. The views from inside were beautiful. The inside of the home, on the other hand, was not pretty. It looked as though it had not been truly cleaned in a LONG time. The counters, stovetop, oven door, toaster over, dishes, cookie sheets, walls, pillows on window sill and floors were dirty. AND there were no cleaning products for us to clean anything ourselves. The furniture and bedding was all old and VERY worn. The smell on the bottom floor was horrible! The door to the front on the building was not secure(the big dead bolt could not be locked). The comforters on the two beds were very old and worn out. The hideaway bed was so uncomfortable that my son could not sleep on it. When we went to grab extra sheets for the couch, they were still wet. The shower in the master bathroom was the one thing inside the house that was nice. This home definitely needs new furniture, new bedding, a paint job on the inside and a top to bottom scrub down for it to be ready for more visitors. I am not sure what the cleaning fee is paying for. We have stayed at many vrbos and none have ever looked like this. We should have listened to recent reviews and booked a different home.

This is the ideal location for a waterfront getaway that is positioned in the centre of many attractions in the Newport area. We enjoyed walking along the jetty and the miles of incredible beaches. Equally pleasant is the walkability to the aquarium, restaurants, and harbour. Very well kept property with load of 'light space' in the living areas.

We’ve stayed in this unit several times, this time we were disappointed in a few things. The inside of the windows really needed cleaning, it would’ve been nice because the view is beautiful. We were a little frustrated that there were so few forks and teaspoons, we had to wash them during the cooking process and eating of our meals. It might be nice to add a few more kitchen towels to your inventory. There were two on the counter when we arrived and we did find two others in a drawer that appeared to have othermiscellaneous items, but those two towels looked like they should be replaced. One of our guests had planned on sleeping on the hideabed, but after a very short time that first night, she decided it would be better to put the bed away and just sleep on the couch. The bed is in pretty bad shape. And the couch itself isn’t very comfortable for sitting and visiting. There were dead flies on the floor in the master bathroom, and whoever dusted the furniture should really dust the entire surface and just not lightly hitting exposed areas. Newport is such a beautiful area and we had perfect weather which made our stay delightful.

Overall, a very nice place with a wonderful view and close to a great beach. The accommodations were nice. A couple of things would improve it however. Some touch up painting would really help. Also, we could not find a cutting board in the kitchen. The garage door was finicky, sometimes sticking part of the way up. Have patience with the front door lock. It often took several tries before unlocking

We've been staying at Casa de Margarita for our annual girls trip for at least 8 years and I'm sad to say the cleanliness has significantly declined. We love the location but may seek other lodging for our next trip. Sad that standards have fallen so low.

Very nice for the price. Could use some paint touch up.
