Beautiful 3BR Townhouse Close to Downtown Augusta

The coordination between VRBO, local host, Hosteeva, and between texting, emails and use of the app is terrible. It was unclear who to speak to for our issues. We were referred to the local host without being given the number - which was listed ONE time on one email and nowhere else. Texts had one set of info and emails another. I called before leaving to clear up the fact I used the wrong email and basically my reservation was not on my account and the only thing that could be done was delete the older account and use newer email but after being told that I received email information on both emails. I got conflicting information from using messaging on app vs text. We spoke to or texted with 4-5 different individuals. It was a hot mess!

Property is on the Savannah river which is stunning. Rooms are as advertised. Keep in mind there are many stairs. We liked the coffee options and the fancy refrigerator.

The condo is in a great location near the river and downtown. The view from the deck is lovely. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen decently appointed. Having dedicated parking was great. Overall the condo met our needs, is very well decorated and I would recommend it. We had a bit of trouble with check-in as it was not clean - the cleaning company remained in the property until about 6pm. Also there are tv’s throughout the property but they are not connected to regular stations so be prepared to use your subscriptions.

The location was perfect and quiet. Must be able to go up and down stairs as there’s 3 levels which wasn’t a problem. It’s directly on the canal with a beautiful view of the water. Lots of bedding and bathrooms and linens very clean. Host was very responsive and check in and out was super easy!

The house was clean and adequately furnished. The couches were surprisingly hard, but it still met all of our needs so I would stay there again.

While obviously an older build, this townhome is beautifully updated. Great Location, however a few things needing attention- there were a total of 4 towels on the property for a property that sleeps 8. The microwave had not been cleaned and was very dirty and the AC was practically non-existent in the upstairs, so be aware if you like a cool sleep. I’d stay again due to the location and our needs.
