Bring your own boat and take advantage of the Free public boat ramp down the road. We have 4 kayaks available to use behind the house. Catch trout, drum and crabs off of the 75ft pier. The restaurants in this area have been rated the best in the OBX. Sit back and enjoy a drink On The Rocks and watch the sunset!>

Stayed Jul 6, 2025The house overall is fantastic and in a great location for going around to different points at the Banks. We loved being able to go out on the Sound each day on the kayaks! The only thing was that the road was quite noisy.

Stayed Jul 27, 2024We really enjoyed our stay! The location on the Sound was beautiful and convenient to both shopping and restaurants. Communication with the owner was excellent. She even checked in with us early in our stay to be sure we had what we needed. The house was very comfortable, and met all of our needs. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed Jul 18, 2024This property was in the perfect location for visiting all of the Outer Banks! The hosts were so very thoughtful. They answered questions before our arrival and left us several gifts to make our stay even more special. The house was very clean, and the decor was so delightful. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with all the cooking tools we could have needed. We enjoyed everything about our stay at “On The Rocks”.
