Beautiful 3 bedroom house Downtown Hamilton near Spooky nook / Miami University

The a accommodations were fine. Great dining space, nicely appointed kitchen. Convenient to have the extra bath downstairs. However the situation with the stairs (couple reviews had mentioned) were very dangerous. Steps were uneven and the landing was literally right in front of bedroom doors. I was very worried about using the bathroom at night so literally had to leave numerous lights on. While I didn’t mind the shared driveway with the neaighbor, he did have many comings and goings but the neighborhood is quite noisy. It’s a charming house quirks and all but we didn’t sleep much! Lastly we couldn’t control the heat from the wifi controlled thermostat on first floor so the house was chilly. Trying not to be negative and we appreciate the hostesses efforts but knowing these things may help future renters!

Clean and beautifully decorated. Very well maintained.

The kitchen had most of the basics, but it did not have some minor items needed for cooking - no lsrge casserole dish, no second rack in oven, for example.Stairs were steep and a little slippery. My daughter slipped down a few stairs.Everything else was very good!

Stay was great for commuting to Miami. The master bedding needs to be changed out. House did have a musty stale smoke smell.

Great location for getting out in Main Street Hamilton and easy access to Oxford.

Overall, the property was very clean and organized. Beds were comfortable. Easily accessible from Miami University. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. The stairs going upstairs are very steep and the second floor elevations are a little weird but doable. The only negative was that the neighbors were very noisy as others also mentioned.

House fit our group well and distance from Miami of OH was manageable. Neighbors were a bit loud at early hours of the morning. Careful on the stairs- steep and one step shorter than another. Owner very prompt in response to minor water issue that didn’t affect our overall stay. Enjoyed the accommodations:)

We enjoyed our stay in this clean, well equipped house for a quick weekend away for our 12 year olds volleyball tournament. It’s location was perfect and we would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed in this home. It was clean and conveniently located. Very nice and accurate as described. The owners were responsive and very accommodating.

When we first drove up we were a little skeptical. The house is older and there is a shared driveway. Don’t let either of those things deceive you. This house was SUPER clean! The kitchen has been modernized and is well stocked (never did we expect to find a hand mixer, but glad it was there). The kitchen items were good quality. There were plenty of towels, sheets blankets, etc. The house is an older home but they supplied heaters in every room in case they were needed. We only needed the one in the family room. The beds were comfortable and so were the futons (actually the most comfortable futon I have ever slept on). The shared driveway is not an issue. Is is very big and the neighbors are very considerate. Nice fenced in yard is a plus. I would definitely recommend this property.

This was the perfect place. The house is cute and clean. Location is amazing 20 minutes away from campus.

It is a short walk from Main Street with lots of shops and restaurants. The stairs are steep so people with mobility issues should be careful. It is very clean and spacious. The owners were great to deal with. No issues for us. We would definitely stay here again

The yard is not fully fenced so if anyone is traveling with pets they will need to be watched unless they are not adventurous and go in bushes and brush. As another traveler stated, the neighbors like to party and thankfully it did not bother us too much. They were nice and we need NOT ask them to keep it down since it was the weekend and followed noise ordinance. Overall, the property itself was great. Much bigger than expected and the property was well stocked. If we visit the area again this property will definitely be on our list if it’s available.
