The century old renovated house is situated on a quiet residential street between the highly sought after Bloor West Village and Roncesvalles communities and adjacent to High Park.
The three professionally decorated and designed boutique apartments are fully furnished to be a Home Away From Home
HPR Suites has its own Little Free Library located on the front lawn of our place, where neighbours and guests can take a book and leave a book.

Recently, our neighbourhood High Park/Swansea has been ranked in the Top 3, out of 140, of the 2013 August edition of Toronto Life Magazine's The Best Places to live in the City. It was also featured in Air France's in-flight Magazine.

Walking: Based on the WALK SCORE WEBSITE our property on Alhambra Ave, has a Walk Score of 98 out of 100. This location is a Walker's Paradise so daily errands do not require a car.

The 1000 SF one bedroom apartment comes with a private outdoor space/dining area 20 ft x 11 ft garden porch, with it's own gas BBQ. All suites come with ensuite laundry, hardwood floors, linens, towels, fully furnished kitchen, and some some books and toys. The Price includes cleaning every two weeks(flexible), 1 free parking/unit, all utilities, premium cable package and Wifi. Free use our adult and children's bicycles. There is no shared space amongst the apartment other than the parking area and rear garden.

Description Of The Apartment
ONE BEDROOM GARDEN SUITE WITH PORCHES-1000 SqF (84M2) SLEEPS 4.
Garden access suite comes with a large 22â x11â (22m2) private rear back garden Porch/deck. The garden walkout deck provides morning and daytime sun and the front porch provides afternoon and evening sun. The bathroom has a vanity, and tub/shower. The large eat in Kitchen (14'x10', 13m2) comes with granite countertops, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove. The living room/dining room is 20'x12'(17M2) Custom built millwork includes a flat screen television, fireplace, antique farmhouse dining table. The bedroom has a Queen bed with an 8 ft closet and fireplace.
We supply hypoallergenic pillows, certified asthma and allergy friendly. Every long term guest will receive new pillows, otherwise we supply new ones every 30 days of usage.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
The house is located on an old tree lined street steps to the subway, 10 minute/24 hour streetcars to downtown, Gardiner Expressway and QEW. It is within walking distance to excellent primary and secondary schools, great bistros, cafés, restaurants, pubs, intimate music clubs, internationally renown Hughs Room, bakeries, green grocer stores, specialty cheese stores, butcher shops, CNE/Exhibition Place, 5 min from St. Joseph Hospital, and the recently saved and community run Revue Cinema. The house is two blocks from High Park with its numerous playgrounds, ponds, leash free dog trails, children's zoo, restaurant, and running/hiking/walking trails, skating rink, swimming and child wading pools, baseball/soccer/football fields and the Howard Park Tennis Club. It is also close to the waterfront Martin Goodman running and biking trail, Sunnyside Beach and its' volleyball courts and Toronto's largest exterior swimming pool. This area is well known for its great food scene and family friendly communities.
Just steps to the Keele or Dundas West Subway stations and to 4 different streetcars lines that run through the city. (505 Dundas line, 306 Carlton/College line, and 504 King St Line, Queen Line)

    What a great place! House interior and exterior were well cared for and clean. Neighborhood is lovely for a walk. We felt safe being out and about. Streetcar, subway and epress train (about a 10 min walk and 10 min express train ride) to downtown are all very close. Excellent grocery store options within 10 mins walk (or less). High Park Jamie Bell Playground is a medium walk for kids (maybe half hour at a slow pace 5 year old walk), as is the High Park pool and splash pad. Make sure to follow the owner's parking directions and entry instructions...very helpful! We parked our car and easily navigated via public transportation and Google maps for the entire stay...no driving necessary. Definitely recommend for a family place if you want to stay in a neighborhood setting yet have the convenience of walking and public transportation.

    We really enjoyed staying here during a recent work trip to Toronto. The apartment is very comfortable and is in a terrific location- very easy transit from the airport and to downtown/Union Station/Convention Center vía the UP Express train. Easy walking distance to subway, buses, streetcar and an array of restaurants and shops. Good clear communication from the owner beforehand as well. We would definitely stay here again!

    Cozy sitting room with electric fireplace. Lots of storage in kitchen and good countertop area. Lots of dishes, utensils, etc. Comfy bed and sofa bed. The only item I would add would be a thicker quilt for the sofa bed, maybe in front closet? Great spot close to lots of little restaurants,convenience stores, coffee shops, etc. Beautiful older neighbourhood! Enjoyed walking around it. We would stay again, definitely!

    We had a great stay at the property. It was very clean and comfortable. Just a few things would have made it better: some directions or documentation explaining parking, tv, etc. We figured it out, but it would have been nice to have some kind of info on the property. Also, we were only given 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 days, so we had to buy more. No big deal really. Otherwise, it was a great location and we had a really nice stay--would book again!

    I had a great stay in this apartment. It was very comfortable, clean and spacious, with a lovely back deck and yard. There was parking and access to the yard through the back alley, and its in a great location. The owners were very helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay here again.
