Bears Up There is sure to become your home away from home in the Smokies. Located in Homestead West, this luxurious mountain cabin offers the perfect location for couples to escape for the week or weekend. After a day of hiking in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, enjoy a relaxing evening at this romantic Smoky Mountain Honeymoon Cabin.

As you enter the cabin, the warmth of southern hospitality surrounds you. The fully equipped kitchen, living-room and dining area offer acouple ample space in a cozy mountaintop setting. Enjoying one another's company is easy to do when you stay at Destination: Relaxation.

The finely appointed Master Bedroom is located at the end of the hallway on the main level. The King size bed will have you feeling like royalty due to its superiority. The master bath offers an indoor jetted tub as well as a stall shower. After a day of hiking in the Smokies, come home and enjoy a fantastic soak in the indoor whirlpool tub. A glass of wine and a nice bubble bath are the perfect way to end the day.

Upstairs in the open loft area, enjoy a game of pool or challenge your loved one to a game of Air Hockey. Connect to the cabin's Wi-Fi and make plans for the week's activities. Perhaps a road adventure awaits you and your loved one in Cades Cove or even an outing to rafting in the Smokies. Cades Cove is an 11 mile loop road in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park and offers a glimpse into the past when pioneers lived on the land and neighbors were connected by church socials or other designated gatherings. Cades Cove Loop Road can be accessed by taking Wears Valley Road into Townsend and follow the signs into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Adjacent to the game room in the loft area, there are 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. These 2 bedrooms are locked off during your stay.

The outdoor hot tub is located on the screened in, covered back porch. Enjoy the beauty of the Smoky Mountains anytime: rain, snow, sleet, or sunshine.

Romance is in the air: Gather round the outdoor fire pit and hold hands and indulge in enjoyable recollection of the day's fun that you shared in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Laugh: This is what happy memory making is all about. Disconnect from the world and enjoy the moment and what is truly important: Your Loved One.

***You must provide your own firewood for the fire pit. You may purchase firewood at the gas station or at Knockout Firewood located at 3264 Wears Valley Road. Please, do not bring wood from home. You could introduce a new species into the environment here and it could wreak havoc on our forest area. Please wait and purchase your wood locally.

Destination Relaxation is approximately 10 miles from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park via Line Springs Road. This is a great location for Wears Valley Cabin Rentals and for families who love the outdoors. Metcalf Bottoms is a fantastic picnic spot in the national park and features tables, grills, and the cool waters of the Little River. Take Line Springs Road for approximately 2 miles and there you will find Metcalf Bottoms - the place to picnic and play in the river.

***Pool and fishing pond access is located approximately 10 minutes from the cabin at Honeysuckle Meadows Pool & Deli off of Happy Hollow Road in Wears Valley. You will need to bring your own fishing poles for the catch & release pond. There is no cost to use the pool or fishing pond. This is included in your rental.

Our cabin was absolutely beautiful. It was secluded and had everything you could possibly need. The cabin was super clean and smelled like fresh cut cedar. The hot tub had been filled with fresh water and sanitized. Property manager was super friendly and was quick to respond to text and emails. The best part of the entire week was we saw black bears right in the back yard. Already planning our next trip and can't wait to return. thr cedar.

Beautiful Cabin in the perfect location! Only minutes away from Wears Valley Rd. Very peaceful neighborhood. We loved the fact that cabins were not stacked on top of one another. Would definitely stay here again ?

We didn't have heat for most of one of the cold days and the day was wasted because it was so cold that we couldn't take a shower to go somewhere. The managers were great at helping, but it still was very inconvenient. The pilate on the gas fireplace also went out that day so we couldn't use it to help warm. The pilot on the fireplace was also out the night before we left and stayed off till we left. It would jave been nice to have had because it was in the 30's outside. Once again, I have no issues with the management. They were great.

The pictures online don’t do this place justice, the view is amazing. The home was very clean and had everything you might need for a week or a weekend getaway. If you like privacy this home has it. Well appointed inside with comfortable furniture and great porches.
