Bear Hollow Lodge | Pet-Friendly, Boat Dock, Hot Tub

Very cool home on a lakefront property. Had all kitchen supplies needed to cook a full thanksgiving dinner. Bedrooms were comfortable and house was clean. Host was easy to communicate with. My ONLY complaint is that we needed to bring all of our own supplies, including toiletries, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, soap, etc.

House is directly on the lake and located close to restaurant's.

This property was VERY clean. The location is awesome. very nice boat dock where we fished and played . Cabin is beautiful and decorated perfect. We stayed in July and it was hot but the air conditioner was cold and delightful. The only issue was the had one dish towel for the kitchen to dry dishes and one wash cloth to do dishes which was contant with our large group. We did use the dishwasher but for large pots and pans it would of been nice to have more. The grill on deck is probably on its last leg. only the front burners work . The upstairs mattress in the king suite is due for a new one . We had to put pillows in the middle of the bed to prevent rolling into the V. Other then those three things it was perfect.

Amazing location. Great time sitting around the fire pit and using the hot tub. Things to improve on: Internet range doesn’t really work out on the porch. Very few supplies (e.g., no dish sponge, only one trash bag in kitchen, only one half used roll of paper towels, few bath towels).

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were basically happy with our vacation stay however there are a few things that really need attention at this rental home. The first thing we noticed is the trash laying around outside. All of the outside furniture could use a good cleaning and the hot tub is very small. We had to call the rental agency every day about different issues that came up (mostly minor) The house needs a deep cleaning and a bug bomb! Biggest complaint was the lack of seating in the dining room, downstairs pool room, and most of our outside fire pit chairs were at the house next door. We didn't want to be rude and take them but they were clearly marked on the back that they belonged at Bear Hollow. I did let the rental company know about that, but nothing was done. And lastly, the Wi-Fi is terrible! I know it shouldn't matter if you are on vacation, but it was needed for some to work while there.

We enjoyed our stay boating, jet skying, fishing what we did between the rain drops. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the house. We cleaned what we could and housekeeping did come back and vacuum but this house needs a serious deep cleaning. in spite of the dirty house we had a great time.

Both times were absolutely amazing and memorable times. The houses have everything you need and really provide the perfect setting for fun with family and friends.

Reviewer Comments: Our family had an OUTSTANDING rental experience at the Bear Hollow Property for one week in March, 2018! Our ONLY recommendation is to provide two more trash cans, bringing the total number of trash can to four for this rental property. The two provided trash cans were not sufficient for our one week stay. If no additional trash cans are able to be provided, recommend scheduling a trash pick-up not later than the fourth day of a seven day stay. Renters do not want to place trash on the ground of the wooden trash can holders that would attract bears or rodents. We want to extend a special thanks to the Taylor-Made Office Staff for their superb courtesy and helpfulness in arranging our stay. Our family will definitely return to Bear Hollow!

The properties are beautiful, well kept, and in the best location at the lake. The homes were spotless and had all the accessories and kitchen tools you would need. You are close to anything/everything you could want and yet you feel immersed in the natural beauty of the lake. The homes are stunning and spacious so you do not feel cramped at any time. The views of the lake and mountains are unmatched by any other property at the lake! The homes are the perfect place to spend time with family and friends in a beautiful setting. The owners are communicative and so helpful, they made our trip that much better. Trust me, you will not regret staying here!
