This is a lovely property that I hope to visit again sometime in the future. I would give it an A for amenities and cleanliness.

Our stay was wonderful. The location of the house was great. There were many things to do and see in Hampton and also close enough to spend some time at Virginia Beach. The house had everything for our stay. Especially liked how the kitchen cabinets were labeled, so much easier to find things. Everyone loved the hot tub, relaxing listening to the surf on the deck and playing/resting in the sand under the house. When the tide was high, we just walked the short distance to the public beach which seemed more like a private beach since we usually had it all to ourselves. Kids really enjoyed flying their kites there. We all agreed this was the best vacation we had in years. Thanks for sharing your house with us.

If you are looking for space, and privacy, this is the place for you. When the tide is out, you have your own beachfront getaway. The tidal clock in the house helps you plan for your day if you want to walk or sit out there. There is a ton of beachfront to walk on to search for all different types of shells, rocks, and sea glass. The house itself is clean beyond imagine, and comes supplied with everything you need should you forget something. PLENTY of beach chairs down below, and a vast supply of beach towels for your use. Beds are so comfy, and the place is decorated so tastefully. I can’t say enough! John is fantastic at promptly responding to anything you need, want, or have to ask about. I was in awe at how at home he made us all feel in their place. I am so glad I stumbled upon this gem of a beach house. You will not be disappointed with this choice!

This place is amazing one story and everything is so perfect , beach comes up to the house and no lugging stuff to the beach so convenient and the water is so wonderful for swimming and fishingWill be back!!! So relaxing

We had an excellent week at Bay Bliss. We really appreciated the cleanliness and having a crib and beach toys on site. We loved the extra touches like plenty of detergent pods, trash bags, paper towels, sponges, soap, shampoo, etc. Even left us espresso pods and beans to grind. We loved that the beach was pet friendly. There was a fish monger close by that we went to multiple times (but bring your own big pot if you do your own boils!) We also enjoyed Fullers Raw Bar and the ice cream shop next door. Went to a few good breweries as well. Cute town, not a ton to do, but close enough to other areas if you are into leaving the house more, which we weren't. The only thing we wish we had known which wasn't in any reviews is that the house decks are really close together and the owner next door has 2 small dogs that constantly barked at us and our dog while we were on the porch (the best part!) and the dogs were never called inside or corrected. Very much so outside of the owners control, but something to be aware of if you are bringing your pet and dog barking bothers you.

This is an amazing secluded place with a deck over the ocean, private beach access and all the amenities you need to spend your days enjoying the scenery.

I will mirror all the other positive reviews. Great location, great house, plan to spend time on the deck listening to the ocean and watching the ships.

Loved falling a sleep and waking up to the sound of waves

The property was absolutely amazing. The check-in process was effortless and communication with the host was excellent. The property was clean, amenities were countless, and the view was beautiful. My family and I have every intention of staying at this property during the summer if it’s available. Simply amazing!

The owner is easily accessible and they maintain a fantastic property true to its listing. My teenagers loved the property and our stay.

This is our second stay and we love this property. No complaints. Communication is excellent, everything is clean, beds are comfy, and they provide everything so you don't have to worry about bringing toilet paper, paper towels,etc. It makes traveling easier!

It’s was most memorable stay we ever had . Right on the beach saw some dolphins in the morning!! All you can hear is ocean and best sunrise and sunset !! Coming back for sure

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Buckroe Beach! The property was well maintained and clean. It was close proximity for us to be able to drive into Norfolk, Hampton, and Williamsburg. Highly recommend!

Absolutely the best! Property is clean and modern, the view is spectacular, and the host ls are top notch! We walked to the beach, relaxed on the deck watching the dolphins, and shut down. We will be back again soon!

We’ve rented beach properties for many years and this is one of the absolute best. Location is prime and absolutely everything you need is provided as well as labeled. There is plenty of storage for personal belongings and food. It was clean, ready early and an owner who is quick to respond to any question. We are a family of four adults, one teen and were very comfortable. Watching ships, boats and dolphins from the covered deck was a great way to spend hot, lazy days of summer. This house is how vacations are meant to be.....walk in, relax and walk back out at the end of the week. Everything is taken care of for you!

House was right on the beach! Need I say more? Great deck where we spent most of the time. Saw dolphins almost every day. My son loved gathering shells. It was very well stocked and had what we needed for the full week.

My family had a wonderful time and appreciated the cleanliness of the house and having our own private beach. We enjoyed having the ice machine for cold drinks and cooking lunch on the gas grill while watching the boats, and even some dolphins, from the deck. The hot tub and ceiling fan on the deck were unfortunately not working when we arrived but John was quick to respond and had the fan replaced by mid-week. The hot tub repair was delayed due to waiting on replacement parts, but these things happen. We look forward to using it during a future stay and enjoyed a relaxing week away with all the comforts of home.
