Great property and location. We loved our stay!
The home was very nice and had a nice view of the ocean. Short path to what felt like your own private beach. The one thing I think that would have been really nice to have would have been an outdoor shower to wash off before coming in.
This is a gorgeous beach house right on the beach at the end of Pacific City and is the perfect place for a family get away. We were in town for a family wedding in Pacific City, this was the perfect place to have 4 families stay. It is at the end of town and basically the end of the beach house area, which is why it is so quiet and secluded, it feels like you have the beach to yourself. Unlike some of the other spots on the Oregon coast this truly feels like you have the beach to yourself, in an hour we saw maybe 5 people walk by. Even though you are on the end of town it only takes ~5 min to get to downtown Pacific City (Pelican Brewing). The beach house is beautiful, it has a modern beachy look and you can tell it was designed as a multifamily vacation beach house. It is modern, clean, and reminds me of a high-end hotel. The little details in the house make you realize the owners tried to think of everything that guests would want, the kitchen if fully stocked with anything you would need for cooking, towels and chairs for on the beach, they even have games inside you can play (shuffleboard table and giant connect four to name a few). The view is the best from the circle swing on the second floor. There is a lot of parking and it is easy to get in and out of the property (just make sure to drive slow down the street).
Awesome location, right on the beach in 10 steps! Beautiful beach and not crowded. I gave house 3 star rating mostly because it was not clean on arrival, toilets were dirty, hair in the beds, dishes dirty, windows very dirty. I spent several hours washing sheets, making beds, washing dishes, etc not what I wanted to do on vacation.
Ultra modern, felt like home away from home except we had a beach right in front of us. Will definitely come back.
It's hard to complain about staying on an amazing beach, but when paying a premium, there are certain basic expectations. The house is great for a group, but there are cameras plastered all over the place and it's a little unsettling to try to relax with family and friends while someone is watching. The furniture is brutal, basically just a bunch of ottomans mashed together, pretty sure this house was staged to sell, not intended to be a family friendly rental. No disinfectant in the kitchen? Just a basic think that you would think would be automatic. Last thing , I know the listing doesn't have a bbq as an amenity, but you would think when you're staying at a 'luxury' beach house, there would be a BBQ on the deck. It's a cool place, but not going to rent again.
Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Beach N Views is the ultimate oceanfront vacation home - we felt spoiled. Right on the sand, this epic property boasts water views from nearly every room - including the bathrooms! Sunsets are unforgettable here. The window-lined interior is fully stocked with family-friendly extras like plastic serveware, a travel crib, high chair, and kids beach toys. The shuffleboard table was a hit for kids and adults alike, plus the bunk room provided more entertainment with a foosball game. A sandy area right off the deck was perfect for playing with toys by day and relaxing around a fire at night - walk about 50 steps via a private sandy pathway to the beach. A 5-minute drive from the town center, this area feels private and many times we had the beach to ourselves. Only cons: the bedrooms are missing shades on some windows and the upstairs AC units reset to heat in the middle of the night. Overall, this was an epic home to spend the last weekend of summer and we'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
House was beautiful. Location on the beach was great. Note that the pillows are very hard so you may want to bring your own. The Queen matrasses were very soft. Some will like this, but I would like something a lot firmer. Only real issue was garbage pickup which is only once a week, they have only one outside can, and it was full when we arrived on Thursday for a three night stay. Hopefully management will correct this as it's a shame to have something so simple mar an otherwise wonderful stay.
Great house for larger mixed aged getaway. Easy access to big quiet beach. Needs closer attention paid to cleanliness details, the little things do matter and get noticed.
We loved the location and the views were amazing. Literally steps to the beach and incredible sunsets and waves.
Steps to the beach and ample room for a larger group.
The location is unreal. Step off the deck straight onto the beach. The surrounding waterfront is quiet and beautiful. The bunk bed room (8 beds in all) is next level. Kids loved it.
The property had no cell reception and no BBQ. Very limited kitchen items. Cameras all over the place and people next door watching you. Mysteriously the garbage was taken to the street during our stay. Super creepy
This home was ideal for our family to come together and enjoy some time away in a quiet and very comfortable environment. The kids loved the bunk room and all the sand toys outside.
This property truly is in an incredible location. Miles of untouched beach to the north, with not another person in sight is any vacationer to the Oregon coast’s dream. The home itself is lovely, spacious, and designed for a large group or even multiple families. The kitchen is well appointed and there are TVs in every bedroom. The design and decor is very modern and lovely. The beds are comfortable, although they seem smaller than a standard queen bed.. For our family, the shuffleboard table was a hit. There were a few things we did not love. While there is ample space to congregate upstairs and downstairs, the chairs/mini couches are incredibly uncomfortable as they do not have back support. We found ourselves sitting on the ground more than on the couches. Additionally, while the ceiling to floor windows provide amazing views, there are no curtains or blinds in the common areas to block the sun or for privacy at night. In the bedrooms there are paper thin curtains that do not block much of anything. Finally, when we arrived there was sand in the couches and on the floors near the beds and a few long brown hairs were found in beds. I understand that the house is on the ocean, but the floor had clearly not been swept. Overall, it is a lovely property and we would likely look to stay here again in the future. But for the price you pay, you would expect everything to be perfect, and there are definitely some finishing touches to put on the home.
