Beautiful home in a quiet location but close to everything you want to be close to in Ocracoke. LOVED the rooftop deck and the cargo lift. Host was THE MOST responsive I've ever worked with - definitely 5 stars!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful waterfront home in Ocracoke! The house was spotless on arrival, and the design and décor made it feel both stylish and incredibly comfortable. The owners clearly thought of everything—there were plenty of amenities, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.The best part was the view: stunning sound-front scenery from every deck. Whether we were drinking coffee in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening, the peaceful waterfront backdrop made every moment special.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a serene and well-appointed place to enjoy Ocracoke!

House was good -- above what was needed for a few friends to have a fishing trip ---- clean, quiet area, easy access to the village --- weather was not what was needed .. no pier for fishing in Northern pond --- host was easy to deal with -- and prompt with responses --- minus the weather, good stay and would recommend ...

Absolutely incredible stay! Even when the weather wasn’t great, this home made our stay magical on Ocracoke! Well equipped all-around, quiet area of the island! 10/10 would highly recommend!

Amazing house, appliances, and amenities!

First, Kathy and Bob were so wonderful to deal with especially during the Hurricane Erin dilemma.The house and property are top notch. Loved the layout and the decor...so well thought out. The rooftop was amazing any time of day and especially at night.Never stayed at a house that had a cargo lift ...such a bonus!!Any property of the Phillips' will not disappoint.

This house was AMAZING. All levels had a gorgeous view and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We will be back!!

Wonderful property with excellent amenities. Great access to pond area was great for kids. Short walk to a tram stop allowed the older kids to wander independently.

We had an amazing time at The Tide is Turning! The home is so well appointed and you can tell that a lot of thought went into the original design. Access to the beach, kayaks and the top sitting porch are just icing on the cake. Our host was super responsive to questions and really friendly throughout the reservation process and our stay. We were already talking together as a family about returning to this same property in the future. If you haven't been to Ocracoke before, it is also a treat. Most of the island can be accessed by bicycle or walking. The beaches require a very short drive, but they are beautiful. Some beaches allow driving onto the shore, which is really convenient. All in all, we considered this a perfect trip! Many thanks to our hosts for allowing us to enjoy their beautiful home for a week! It was a wonderful week!

We arrived to a clean cottage, with a wonderful kitchen and eating , relaxing space. We enjoyed watching shooting stars ,star gazing from the roof. We floated in the little bay and kayaked in the sound . When we weren't at the cottage we were wandering the little shops and made sure we stopped at the Sweet Treat for Truffles and the coffee shop for our lattes, and of course Zillies to see what random items they had.

This house was better than pictured! We were blessed to enjoy it for a few days. Close to everything on a golf cart ride! Love the beach front and views from the home!

Wonderful Thanksgiving family gathering at the most beautiful house overlooking the Pamlico Sound. The house was beautifully decorated with all the amenities we needed. The children loved viewing the stars on the roof deck. Their first experience in seeing such a dark sky. The host was very responsive to any inquiries we had. Ocracoke is a very special place. The house is wonderful and the view even better! You can watch the sunrise and sunset from the roof top deck. Centrally located to the restaurants and shops. Kathy, the host, was very responsive and helpful. We’ll definitely rent the house again!

Catching fish while kayaking behind the house, seeing a comet from the roof deck, having a relaxing and peaceful few days with the family. The house was perfect and added significantly to our Ocracoake adventure!!

I have been going to Ocracoke for 50+ years with my family and have stayed at so many properties. This one was spectacular! The views are wonderful from the main area and also the rooftop. The kitchen is well stocked and communication and the check in process was seamless. Highly recommend.

We celebrated our wedding anniversaries with friends. The house was beautiful and the the top roof views amazing. Kathy was great with communication. We look forward to visiting again.

10/10 all around, some properties look great in pictures, but don't live up, this place is immaculate. Communication with owner was great, house was spotless clean. I would highly recommend bringing your own mattress pad for Master king, unless you like sleeping on a rock.

This home had every comfort imagined and nothing beats the view from the top deck at night. Simply incredible. We are so grateful for our time at this beautiful home and looking forward to returning.

We stayed with our 10 and 12 year olds who enjoyed their bunk room. We also invited Gran and Pop, who appreciated the first floor bedroom. Loved the rooftop view, doing puzzles, and the open main living space!
