Beachfront 6 bedroom luxurious house with private pool, Lost Shaker of Salt by Prickett Properties

The house was perfect for our stay. The layout and decor are very nice. Location on beach was awesome . The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. Prickett Properties was prompt on answering our questions. The only issue we had was the pool heater was broken and needs repaired but they did refund the at portion of our bill which was nice. We would stay here again.

Perfect house for our family!! We really enjoyed our time there last week! Just a couple of thoughts for you to consider… The front load washer was really molded and strong odor- we tried our best to clean it before using- suggest that you ask renters and clean up crew to leave the washer door open after using as well as a part of the departure requirements. Several remotes for ceiling fans were missing. Water pressure in showers was very weak. The WiFi was rather spotty - But other than that a great place! We will definitely plan another visit to this house! Thank you so much!!

I want to say that the home was a perfect fit for our family. We had 11 adults and 2 infants and it was perfect for everyone to have their own room and bathroom and the home was well stocked with all necessities. The ice maker and double refrigerators were game changing. The beach access was also excellent. Upon arrival we noticed that the cookware was in terrible shape and not fit to cook in. We called Prickett's line and had new pots within the hour. The only reason for the 4 stars was the unreliable internet service. We finally just gave up on trying to watch TV. The home is smart TV / streaming only which constantly froze and lost connection. It was definitely frustrating. Luckily the one person who had to work for a couple of days has a personal hotspot. Thankfully we had perfect weather so we only missed watching tv at night.

LSoS met or exceeded all of our family's expectations! Everything about the home was very clean, efficient, and well maintained. Highlights were a spacious central meeting and kitchen/eating area, private space/rooms for individual families, private pool was perfect for the younger kids as a retreat from the beach, and of high importance, the beach access is the absolute best (no sand in the vehicles after numerous trips to the beach). We constructed several sandcastles, a group challenge to carve a bigger one each day, creating great memories for the builders of all ages! Our group would return to this home without any reservation and would highly recommend it for families looking for a great beach vacation!

Cory came to address a list of minor issues. He appears to be a very skilled guy. He put a lock on our sliding glass door that when we arrived, there was not one. That leads to the pool and we had 9 kids under 10 with us. A temporary fix was very helpful . With that many sleeping babies, it is a very tenuous matter with young mothers to make sure doors don't creek or squeak when they close as to not wake up babies on a vacation where sleep, as you can imagine , is at a premium. I was not aware when he came back to address the hinges in each of the rooms and he could have handled an issue that my daughter in law raised about a door not closing. His terse manner is not a big deal to us as i know he manages a huge number of properties , as well as pompous clients, but i can assure you, our group is not one of those. A little patience and awareness that these vacations are the result of years of saving and anxiousness, and clients want everything right. Please be sure to check the leak from the garbage disposal in the kitchen. it was not a constant leak but under certain conditions in the sinks/it was leaking. This is our 3rd visit with Prickett and we have enjoyed every house , including Black Pearl and Livin it.

Great location and items listed below are absolutely required and am surprised they are missing. We had to live out of our suitcases because of lack of drawers, lower shelves in closets, and no hangers. All bedrooms require privacy curtains or shades. Additional blankets / and any throw blankets for chairs should be provided. We had to purchase a large frying pan and pyrex containers. Very good facility but short on some expected amenities.

Nice, newer property that is beachfront with a pool. Great location and views of the gulf and great location to see the fireworks. Nice living room area with plenty of seating. The layout/bedrooms are good. Area underneath offers plenty of parking, and room for cornhole and other games. Would recommend serving platters and extra pots/pans. And shades would be nice in the bedrooms or blackout curtains. Prickett Properties is very easy to work with and responded promptly to any questions.

This was such a beautiful home and a perfect location. We had lots of space. The only reason for a 4 rating is because the kitchen was very poorly stocked. We had plenty of dishes, glassware and silverware, but absolutely no serving bowls, serving pieces and only one knife for cutting. The cookware was in terrible condition. It was scratched and black. The oven definetely needed calibration. We loved having the 2 refrigerators. Our family loves to cook and we do not go out for dinners so having a poorly stocked kitchen was kind of a bummer.

The location of this place was amazing. The house is setup wonderfully. The complaints are one tub had cracks in it upstairs and leaked onto the first floor and flooded the place. 4 different people came to look at it but it never got fixed. The other issue was a breaker went bad that took a day and half to get fixed and we don't have any hot water. I asked to speak with a manager 3 times and was told we would get a call and never did get to talk to a manager. I will never stay with prickett properties again because of this experience. It's said because the house is appealing but if you have any trouble prickett properties will not take care of you

Lost Shaker of Salt was a beautiful, well-appointd home with a lovely pool. We so enjoyed it!!! I will definitely agree with a previous renter as to the lack of serving items. I brought a few platters and large bowls, and I'm so glad I did, bc there were none! I missed having some corning ware, as there were no pieces, but at least I could purchase disposable aluminum pans. So note to future renters...bring these items! I think most of my family wished that there were darkening shades in the bedrooms. There was nosleeping in with the brightness! One of our king size beds broke the first night. The frame had actually been bent! But a repairman came immediately and fixed it. We were so pleased. All in all, we loved our stay.

We loved this house and the proximity to the beach. The small pool on the deck was perfect for our young families with babies. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, and silverware, but lacked in serving and mixing bowls. We loved having two refrigerators and the ice maker was a plus! Beds were comfortable. The house is located about 20-25 minutes from shopping and dining in Gulf Shores.

We had a great time at Lost Shaker Of Salt. The house was outstanding, loved everything, the walk to the beach was short and easy. The view was beautiful. Could have used some serving bowls as we ate most meals in. Otherwise the kitchen was perfect for Our large family.

House layout is perfect for families with children, especially younger ones. The whole crew enjoyed the pool.

About to give up on VRBO because in the last few years, we rented property that was not well maintained or well cleaned. Since this property was new - it was clean. A towel rack fell off, outside shower head was off and a jet in the pool was missing. Serving dishes were needed as well as blinds which I assume would be forthcoming. The floor plan was great and there was plenty of room for the seven of us. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of bathrooms. The two fridges were great.
