Beachfront, 24th Floor

The stay at Tidewater was ok. Did have to wait for elevators some. The main reason I wanted to leave a review is because of the harassment from the lady that owns and rents all the beach lounge chairs. She stays in one of her lounges from early morning to late afternoon and complains to Tidewater Security about anyone on the beach, that didn’t rent one of her lounges, and is sitting in front of them with either a high back chair or an umbrella. Security has to come down to the beach multiple times and ask these people to go to end of property on the beach or sit on wet sand near water. This happened all day, every day. It’s sad that someone is so greedy about making money and making people miserable because they didn’t rent her chairs. She has a young man go around and video tape (while he’s acting like he’s talking on the phone) these people and reports them to security. Many people were frustrated and angry about this situation. We heard she had a lawsuit against Tidewater Resorts and Tidewater Resorts had a lawsuit against her for harassment of their guests. Hope Tidewater wins their lawsuit so this lady will quit ruining people’s vacations!

This condo was wonderful. Clean, right in front of the elevator, and extremely close to the beach. Anna was extremely prompt with all of our questions and was wonderful to worth with. We had an absolute great time!

Condo was great, loved the beach, the long waits on the elevators was only negative.

The view was incredible! Unfortunately, this didn’t seem to be an ideal condo for a family with very small children. Due to the long wait for the elevators, we had to time our outings, which with kids is difficult. They got stir crazy sitting inside waiting. Also, the condo looked very cute and beachy, the bunk beds were adorable, and it was all very spacious. But it was not as clean as it should have been. The counters had sand on them. Our feet turned black so we all had to wear socks the entire time - in mid July, not ideal. The appliances were old, the dishwasher didn’t clean sufficiently. Also, we were told the day of checkin that the washer and dryer wouldn’t be fixed until the day before our departure. With 3 young kids, we have a lot of laundry and this was one of the main reasons we chose this condo - for ease for our family vacation. Anna did communicate with us, but it wasn’t fixed before we left, so she refunded part of our stay. Overall, it would be great for adults, a couple, but not small children. The view was gorgeous so we spent a lot of time just sitting and watching the ocean.

Good property, but elevators were very slow

Great updated condo with an amazing view. Good communication with the owner and easy check-in. A lot has been said about the elevators on this property. Just be smart in your planning. Don't wait until 10 am to take four carts of luggage out. These seem to be the only people complaining. We never had an issue.
