This place is great for just us two. Very well stocked in the kitchen. Quiet and safe. So nice to be able to park in the garage.

Dirty socks in the living room upon arrival. House wasn't cleaned very well. Otherwise the place was fine

First the excellent. A garage w/opener made it ideal to load and unload our vehicle out of the rain. Washer and dryer also a big plus. The bad. Yard is overgrown. Trip hazards (above ground roots) all around. Meals had to be eaten from the lift top coffee table. The dehumidifier was accidentally bumped, causing the drain hose to fall off, which left a huge puddle of water on the kitchen floor. Not he correct connection on the unit. The widows have had the balances removed, so the windows don't properly fit nor will they stay open without the owner provided stick to put under them. I tried, and the window almost fell out onto the floor. The kitchen is so tiny, no counter space to prepare a meal, but it is a kitchen. The shower curtain had black mold on the bottom which smelled so we cleaned it. Quirky, by the owner's admission. It could be a great little place with a little love by the owner.

Cute and quaint home for our weeklong stay! Convenient proximity to points of interest. Convenient check in / check out. Home was swept clean; I did have to deep clean it upon arrival to remove dust and spots from fixtures, appliances, etc.

Great little place, you feel secluded from everyone but you are just down the street from everything. Beautiful area with LOT'S of amazing hiking trails. Definitely recommend!

We had a great start at this house. We got to go explore the redwoods and play at the beach. Best of both worlds. The town on the other hand seemed very sketchy and run down. I was very happy that this home had a gate in front because it really isn't the best town. But you will feel safe in the house so no need to worry there. Definitely worth the stay in Crescent City to be able to see all of the beauty we got to go find.

Could use a good cleaning. The pictures made it look a lot nicer than it was. Both window latches were broken so we were unable to lock them which was creepy considering the back yard wasn't fenced in and there's lot of trees and shrubs where it would be easy for someone to creep around and climb through a window. I would suggest fixing that. The front fenced in area was nice and private. And the flowers and trees were beautiful

Sweet well-appointed hideaway cottage. Clean, cozy, secluded, quiet, nicely landscaped. Close to Redwood parks and lots of interesting beachfront. Enjoyed food at Seaquest Brewery and Seafront Bakery.

We enjoyed are short overnight stay here. The hosts were very nice, the home was clean and nicely decorated. They have a front gate that makes it a very private little place. The yard has lots of trees and plants that seclude it from neighbors well. I would recommend this place and would love to stay here again.

We totally enjoyed our vacation to the redwood area of California. The weather was perfect for the hiking and sightseeing that we did and the VRBO was located right in the middle of the action. There was just my wife and myself which was a good thing. The unit was comfy and clean, but it is small. Everything was good, but the wifi seemed to be slow at times, but that was not important.

We enjoyed our cozy stay in Crescent City at this cute cottage. It was hidden away. I enjoyed the location actually, it was a quiet neighborhood close to any necessities. My children stayed on the pull-out couch while I stayed in the bedroom. The pull put couch matress must not have been used in some time because it was a bit dirty and I had to vaccuum but I happily did that and put a sheet on. The property was fully updated and decorated inpeccably. I also enjoyed the attention to detail in regard to the extra amenities the hosts provided. I dont typically reach out to hosts for anything but anytime speaking to them they reaponded promptly. There was an issue of the cleaners coming prior to checkput but the hosts assured they would speaking to them. I highly reccomend staying here for your Redwoods stay.obneighborhood

This property is centrally located and because of the amazing established palms and other vegetation it was very private, peaceful and felt tropical. We enjoyed meals outside and playing dice. We visited Smith River and also enjoyed the Trees of Mysterythe

We loved the landscaping, decor and proximity of the house to the Redwoods. We stayed 2 nights and one day homeless people came out from the woods across the street and another day some were walking down the street. This and other run down homes on the street made us feel uneasy. It was comforting that there is a wooden gate at the driveway. The house smells quite moldy. Entrance to the bathroom is through the bedroom.
