Anna Maria Island’s noise ordinance aims to ensure citizens can enjoy a peaceful environment. The ordinance applies to all areas of the city, including public and private property, and places of business. It defines noise as any sound that annoys or disturbs a reasonable person of ordinary sensibilities or causes or tends to cause an adverse physical or psychological effect on such reasonable person. The noise ordinance limits the maximum permissible noise levels to:
7 AM–10 PM: 65 decibels: (Consistently shouting in the pool exceeds 65 decibels)
10 PM–7 AM: 50 decibels: (An audible conversation from 50’ or 15 meters away exceeds 50 decibels)
The ordinance also prohibits plainly audible noise, which refers to any sound that can be clearly heard by a person using their normal hearing faculties. This means that a person can still be in violation if the noise can be easily heard by responding officers from a distance of 100 feet from the property line. Fines for excessive noise can range from $100 to $1,000.

    The decor and furnishings were nice. The location (deadend street, 2.5 blocks to the beach) was great. Linens were great, beach chairs provided, and the house was pretty clean. Backyard oasis.The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because the private pool and spa were a MAJOR reason for booking this property, and they did not working properly. When we arrived, the pool temperature was perfect, but the heat would not kick on in the Spa. The property mgr sent out maintenance who called in the pool company to fix it. However, after they fixed it (twice), the heat/spa kept turning on, and the entire pool got all the way up to 99 degrees. Finally, maintenance came back out and their solution was to turn off the breaker to the heater, which meant the Spa would not heat up. Meanwhile, after heating up to 99 on Tuesday, the pool never got back down below 90 degrees during the remaining 4 days of vacation. Most days it was around 93 - not refreshing at all in. The property mgmt did not take any responsibility and just told us they couldn't do anything. I asked about another property with a pool that was working or a discount and was quickly told That's not happening.Homeowner: I would suggest getting someone who actually knows how your system works - it was looked at 4 times during our stay (2 by rental maint. and twice by pool maint.) & the end result was to turn off the breaker to the heater. I think there is a schedule set that keeps turning on spa/heat.

    We had a great stay Beach Pearl! The house was everything we needed for our family. The backyard was definitely the highlight of our trip! It was so private and felt like we were in our own little world back there. The little path in the back was so cool and felt like we had our own little nature trail right there in the backyard. We grilled out one night and had pizza by the pool too. The location was perfect for easy beach access and shopping. Next time we come we will definitely rent bikes or a golf cart. It was a little tricky parking our full size truck anywhere on the island. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!

    Overall, we loved staying at The Pearl. It was an amazing property with an established tropical landscape, with a well-maintained pool and hot tub. The house was very clean and decorated beautifully. The fridge is clean and spacious and the kitchen is well stocked with all the necessary cooking and baking equipment. However, there are a few minor repairs, that need to be done to house. The master bedroom door does not stay closed, unless it’s locked. The master bedroom does not get very cold like the other rooms. The master bathroom shower, does not get very strong water pressure. The washing machine makes a very loud knocking sound when you wash clothes. The sound is not cause by a user error! It doesn’t matter how much laundry you put in there or if the clothes were put evenly, it still makes the same loud noise. However, the dryer is amazing! It dries a good amount of clothes/towel easily, in a 90 minute drying session. The best part about staying at this location is that it feels very quiet, private, and safe. It is located on a private dead end road. We had a great vacation and we will definitely stay again at this location!

    Would stay here again based on the back yard alone! Pictures don’t do it justice. Great pool, shaded area, outdoor shower, grill and beautiful landscaping. House is really comfortable and decorated nicely. Was plenty spacious for my family of 5 (3 young kids). Beach chairs and wagon in the garage were nice to have. Easy walk across the street to beach access. A little too long of a walk for our young kids to walk to Pine Street (wish we had bikes), but easy enough to drive around the island instead.

    Nicely updated property.with beautifully done backyard with a pool which was like having another room. Easy 5 minute walk to the beach ? had bikes, wagon and chairs along with pool toys. The location of one of bedroom off the kitchen had barn doors which made the room noisy.
