This property was exactly what we were hoping for! It comfortably fit our family of four. We loved our quiet time staying at the house and lounging in the pool and spa, and the beach was only a short walk away. The canal in the back not only provided my son with a convenient fishing spot, but we also got to see manatees right behind the house almost everyday we were there. Such a great bonus! The only minor inconvenience was the alarm on every door heading to the pool. It's required by law, so we completely understand! The only issue was the one on the outside going back in on the main door from the pool, the button seemed to be a little worn out and didn't always work. Because of this, no one dared go out to the pool or canal before everyone was awake unless they planned on walking around to the front door to come back in. We didn't want to wake anyone up with the alarm! LOL Like I said, it was only a minor inconvenience, though. We had an issue with the spa not heating up on the first day, but Liza was very responsive and walked me through resetting it. Overall, communication was fantastic! Within minutes of making the reservation, Liza sent a ton of great info about the area. Overall, this was a wonderful property in a nice, quiet residential area. This was our first time to the area, and after exploring, we were very happy that we chose this property on the north side of the island. Much quieter and less congested! Highly recommend! Would not hesitate to come back

We really enjoyed our stay at Beach Nest. Location was great, accommodations we fantastic and there was plenty of beach stuff available for us that we couldn’t bring on the plane for obvious reason. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Anna Maria!

We had the best time. Liza communicated lots of information not only about the house but suggestions for activities and places to eat. We enjoyed the pool and backyard as well as the bikes and beach wagon. Great location and plenty of room to spread out for our group of 7.

Beach Nest was definitely one of the best rental houses we ever vacationed at. Beautiful house and equally stunning decor and landscaping were highlights. Location was great to beach (short walk) and neighborhood was quiet. Liza and Kit were great hosts and were very responsive to our needs. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Everything was really perfect. Everything is there that you need. We rented bikes for entire group but there are two bikes that come with the house that we also use. We kayaked the canal which was beautiful with the kayak that is provided. She also has life jackets and all different sizes, a beach wagon, beach toys, a very sturdy umbrella for the beach plus a Sun Ninja which is a sun shade tent. It's really easy to put up. I would highly recommend renting bikes for your stay. Everything is within biking distance most of it is within walking distance if you have a good pair of shoes. Beaches, Cafe, ice cream, little restaurants and bars, a fun 'make your own donut' place, and lots of quaint little shops. The trip from Tampa international is easy. The skyway bridge is beautiful. Do not be scared off by the fact that it is a toll bridge. You don't have to have the correct change to get through. The property itself is very nice. Lots of natural light. The kitchen has really anything that you need. If you are a coffee drinker there are a couple different options for brewing. Other guests have left behind a nice foundation of spices if you want to cook. There is a ninja blender that we used to make pina coladas and a slow cooker/crock pot that we used to make Mexican roast for tacos. Liza, the owner is also the manager of this property. She was very responsive. She helped us navigate a grocery delivery and had someone at the house before we arrived to accept the delivery.

This was the vacation we had dreamed of! The location is wonderful, quiet neighborhood, house was perfect for a mixed group of relatives with teenagers. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and hanging out in the beautiful landscaped yard. We saw manatees every morning off the dock. We rode bikes to the beach, or walked the short couple of minutes. The beach was never crowded and we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. Liza was always available to answer questions and gave helpful and clear check in and out instructions. Plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, a wagon to carry it all in. Beds were comfortable, nice linens and towels. Kitchen is well equipped, we cooked a couple of nights. Feels like a home, but with a resort flair! We hope to return!

We recently stayed at Beach Nest for spring break with our 4 kids, and it exceeded all of our expectations. From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of amazing. The property itself was impeccably maintained and beautifully decorated. It's a bit dated but so clean, we felt right at home. The spacious layout provided more than enough room for our family to spread out and relax. The hosts has everything we needed for the beach and pool. The highlight for our kids was undoubtedly the backyard. The heated pool and hot tub was golden. They especially loved the dock, where my son caught his first fish! They saw Manatees, an octopus, and lots of fish. The location of the property was also ideal for exploring the area. It was a very short walk to the beach, and the house had an awesome wagon to lug everything. It made it easy for us to hit the beach without packing and unpacking a ton of stuff. The place was also very close to the restaurants and pier. Additionally, I can't say enough good things about the hosts. They were incredibly responsive and attentive to our needs throughout our stay. From providing recommendations for activities to promptly answering any questions. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a fantastic experience. This rental property was absolutely wonderful. It provided the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and fun for our family. We can't wait to come back again next year! Highly Recommend!

Everything was as advertised, if not better. Each room was spacious, cozy, and lovely décor to match. It really had a home away from home feel. The pool area was set-up for comfort and the dock on the inlet was a nice bonus. We were lucky enough to see manatees on two separate occasions. The house comes with two bikes and tandem kayak. Need I say more…Owners are very thoughtful and assist with any questions you may have as well provide beneficial information regarding local dinning and hang-out spots. If/when I return to the island I will look to stay here again.

We had a wonderful vacation at Beach Nest. The setting is beautiful and relaxing. The yard is beautiful and private. Having access to the canal and kayaks was fun. It was a perfect location, a quick walk/bike ride to the beach or Pine Street. We enjoyed the delicious cookie and champagne waiting for us upon our arrival. The home is open and well laid out for a large family. There are however some areas that need attention. The upholstery in both the living and dining area needs to be cleaned and there are a few dining chairs with ripped upholstery. Some of the blinds are non-functional. The back wooden step is beginning to split and is a concern with bare feet in the pool area. Adding some landscape lighting would add to the enjoyment/safety of the beautiful yard from both the outside and inside in the evenings. One toilet was marginally functional. It ran constantly after being flushed due to a broken flush rod. After a few days of manually adjusting to shut it off, I contacted the owner. The issue was promptly addressed but the toilet was never fixed during our 2 week stay and there was no further communication regarding the repair. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The home is advertised with 2 king bedrooms. One is actually a queen mattress on a king frame. Overall, several minor things added up for our stay that would have been a 5 star without them. We had a great relaxing time and look forward to returning to AMI.
