Beach Cottage on the best street in Salvo, located 2 lots from beach access.

We loved the place. Beach access was easy. We appreciated the outdoor shower. We were very thankful for the shed, loaded with beach goodies (boogie boards, chairs, sand toys, and a wheelbarrow to carry it all). We loved the hot tub at night.Inside was great as well. Very clean, and dinner seating for a large family. The kitchen was very nice (suitable for our annual meal competitions), was well equipped, and had plenty of storage space. The beds were comfy. There was enough sitting space for those who wanted to be together and for those who wanted to be apart.

So glad we found this hidden gem down south in the Rodanthe/Salvo/Waves area! The cottage was clean, spacious, and well appointed. My family of 5 had plenty of room to spread out, and we could've accommodated another small family or couple if needed. The beach is just over the dune and a really quick walk, which was a big draw for us. You'll find everything you need in the shed, including a beach cart to lug the provided chairs and sand toys to the private ocean access, where you won't be fighting for a spot. There's just enough stores and restaurants in the immediate area to find some of thr essentials for your stay, but overall this is a very quiet part of OBX. Really nice for relaxing and undwinding!

This was our first house rental in OBX. Online description was spot on about distance to beach and interior of house. Kitchen was nice as well as the bedrooms. Bathroom shower was nice and plenty of hat water. First time in hottub and had a fun time. The boys played cornhole in back yard. We would stay there again.

Easily the quietest and most relaxing beach stay I’ve been at. Worst part is the limited parking but there is an empty street right behind the house that we parked on and had no issues. Hot tub was dirty upon arrival but quickly cleaned within 24 hours. Pine trees above the hot tub are always dripping needles into the tub which is why it was dirty. I highly recommend this locations!

Perfect location for walking to the beach. Close enough to places like Kitty Hawk to drive without being in the crowd full-time. Beautiful place to relax. The kitchen is set up well for cooking. Be cautious if a lot of rain is expected due to flash flooding.

Clean, well kept beach cottage! We enjoyed time with family, playing on the beach, and watching the sunrises. Nice to have kids toys available for the littles!

My 5 children (ages 11-21) and I had a great time here. Everything was very clean, the beds were comfortable, we could all spread out, the kitchen was stocked with supplies so we could make meals. The host was very responsive. Less than 10 minute walk to the beach. Nearest big grocery store was about 25 minutes away so have your supplies before arriving. ? The only small issue we had was in our last morning we ran out of toilet paper in one bathroom and could have used another garbage bag. I’m sure if I would’ve contacted the host, she would have resolved it but we made due. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at NorEaster was perfect! We had children ages 3-12, parents and grandparents and we all found the place to fit our needs perfectly. Just yards from beach access and a very short drive to the Salvo Day Use Area for the little ones. The house was spotless, with all the amenities we needed for the week, and very well furnished. The meals we shared together were a true highlight. We loved how quiet the neighborhood was and that the kids could bike on the street. We will make every attempt to bring our family here again!

We could not have been more happy with our stay. This properties location is perfectly nestled on a quiet street just steps from the beach but close enough to the necessities too. We’d definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in a quieter part of the OBX. We look forward to being able to come back.

We absolutely loved our stay. The house is again, everything youd want and more. Kelley is beyond responsive, very quick with answers, we couldnt want more. The house is so clean, neat, well organized, well prepared for a larger family, close walak to the beach thru a beaituful shaded walk to the dunes. The kids 5, ages 4-11 were so excited to go back to our beach house for the 2nd year, as this is how we have decided to buikd our memories with our kids who have come from other walks of live to our home and life. We are excited to book again for next year. THANK YOU!
