The view from the porch is spectacular! The house is wonderful and we had everything we needed. Being just steps away from the beach made it even more special! We will be back.

We love the beach access. The host was available and answered the questions we had in a timely manner. It was a beautiful weekend!

Our host, David was super. He even offered late check out as he did not have anyone coming in. Amenities were great. Everything we needed was there.It was perfect for 5 women celebrating my 75th birthday.The beach access is nice and easy and the sun was out every day. A real treat after being fogged in for weeks.

House was located right on a fabulous beach. The house was provisioned with everything anybody could hope for. David was a great host providing notes to explain how everything worked. We loved our time there.

Incredible upstairs ocean view. Host had home decorated for Christmas, very sweet. Kitchen well equipped, plenty of paper products supplied. Overall, a comfortable, clean, cozy home.

This home on a bluff above the glorious Oregon coast was incomparable, as was our host, truly the best of the best! There was no weak point, not a single disappointment. The host, David, was the kindest of men, delivering for our use anything we asked a question about --even if an item which we had no earthly reason to expect, such as a saw! He left very special treats for us as well, and his immediate availability was astonishing! Over the top extraordinary overall experience in the most amazing location possible! Thank you, David!!

We, 4 adults, stayed in the Beachcomber for 2 amazing weeks! The home was very comfortable & everything was just as it was described in the listing, with the location even better than described! Check in was extremely easy and David was very responsive. Thank you David for sharing your wonderful home!

Overall experience was great. Beds were comfortable. View was amazing. Some things were not as clean as we would have preferred in kitchen, but didn’t impact the overall experience. Coffee grinder didn’t work but a local coffee shop was able to grind our coffee for us. Appears the food chopper is missing parts.

If you want to be right on the beach with the most amazing beach access choose this place! It had enough room for us all with everything we needed. It’s all about the location, the view and the amazing deck!

Our family experienced loss this year and this loved beach house provided us comfort and respite. The view of the magical Pacific Ocean and direct beach access is exactly what we needed. Thank you so very much.

Exactly what we were looking for. Being right on the beach. Homey feeling. All of felt the same way. We rented for next year. House had everything in it, to make all of comfortable.

Literally, your beach ( hardly any other people) is right out the door! Spacious, clean and comfortable home! Perfect for a party of 8! Gold Beach wasn’t my favorite costal town. But I managed to find a couple of great shops and awesome pizza at Groundling! Brookings isn’t too far south and a beautiful lighthouse not too far north! There are hikes in both directions. I highly recommend staying at this beach house!

We had an amazing time at the Beach Comber. We often visit the Oregon coast but we have never seen it storm so much with such strong winds as when we were there this time. The beach comber was a perfect place to rest and enjoy the storm across the ocean. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed and then some. We would definitely love to stay again.

The property is in a great location, but had some damage from a recent storm. It is also due for an annual 'deep cleaning' (we did some while we were there), and some upgrades - maybe a new kitchen countertop?The Property Manager was easy to work with and was immediately available when I called.We would stay there again.

Proximity to the beach is great and the house is well equipped and stocked.

Beautiful ocean view and very private. Easy beach access and looong stretches of beach. The kitchen was super well stocked with plenty of everything! The short driveway provided an easy spot to let the dogs do their thing in the mornings and easy to clean up after them. Loved the big dining table for games snd cards. We had a relaxing and enjoyable post election retreat!

We all had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect even though it was October. Everything in the house worked and was really nice and comfortable for my sister and I. The dogs had an especially great time. The location to the beach was such a treat for all of us. We definitely will come again. Thank you so much for all the thoughtful details in the house.

This was our second stay at Beachcomber. We couldn’t think of staying anywhere else on the southern coast because the location is perfection! This house has everything you can ever imagine needing. David is prompt with communication. We love our time in the area and are definitely planning on returning.

Just another great stay. We just love this place. Great location just feet from the nearly private beach. David always is just great and the house is always clean and has everything you need.

Convenience to town makes this a nice area of Gold Beach/Wedderburn to stay. 2nd stay in this home, 3rd in area. Drawback would be the furniture needs a serious update. Quiet area and ease to beach, otherwise.

Feels like home

I cried the moment we last closed the door. We were heartbroken to leave the beautiful Beach Comber House and the sweet seaside village of Gold Beach. From the moment we booked the Beach Comber our experience with owner David H was absolutely fabulous. Dave was a delight to correspond with, he responded to messages immediately and was very accommodating with our requests. Check in details were very clear and was delivered exactly as promised. As we walked through the door we were enchanted with the home’s lovely decor and charm. The home was clean and well appointed. The kitchen included EVERYTHING you would ever need. It was the little extras that impressed us - coffee, tea, laundry soap, fabric softener, shampoo, conditioner - The list goes on and on. The bedrooms were fabulous. The linens, beds, mattresses and pillows were all good quality. My senior parents adored the sun room off the second bedroom. The sunsets became a nightly ritual for our family. The gentle ocean breeze, a nice glass of wine on the deck and the most glorious skies imaginable. We booked this home purely for the convenient beach front, but we absolutely fell in love with the home, the view, the beach, the privacy and the peaceful neighbourhood - The Whole Enchilada! I can’t praise the home, the location or the wonderful owner enough. Our experience was absolutely a five star stay.

Nice comfortable, gorgeous views and access to beach.

We had my two boys and pur parents at this home. The location for the beach was perfect, we couldnt have asked for better. We had 1 day that was rainy but the host had games amd cards so we made the most of it. Reply time for questions was slow sometimes, but we dis get a reply. We had a great time. The only thing i would suggest is a comcrete part to wash feet afyer the neach and better hand yowels in the kitchen.

You can’t get any closer to the water than this house! Loved the size of house and beach access - dog friendly places are hard to come by and we were happy with the house. Would stay again.

This property was exactly as they list it. The location is excellent as it is right on the beach with it's own private access. It is very well stocked. The owner David si very helpful and friendly and is very helpful if needed with questions. We loved staying in the house and would definitely stay again.

One of the few houses on the Oregon coast that wasn’t butted right up next to another property. It could use a little TLC but, everything you need is there. And the view and the beach right there makes it worth the price.

Excellent house with bea h access. Vary quiet neighborhood. We visited Jerry's Boats and the Zoo up north.
