BayView Cottage West Indies style home community beach and waterfront dining!

Check in was at gatehouse of one community, then had to drive to our community and get buzzed in because our gatehouse wasn’t manned. The kitchen lacks any basic spices or cooking oils or sprays. Bring everything you need for your meals. The house was nice and in a clean, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our time there.

Property is perfect for our family, and the outside space is great for outdoor entertainment.

We really enjoyed our stay. A block from the bay with sunset views from the 3rd floor. Pictures of the listing don’t do it Justice. All the beds and mattresses have been updated. The only constructive feedback would be to change the carpet - it has some stains but it didn’t bother us as it was clean - just a few stains here and there - and the Roku remotes didn’t work in the bedrooms. Otherwise everything else was perfect with the very spacious and clean house!! Highly recommend.

This house was perfect-great location with the ability to message home manager without any issues. Home was clean and stocked with plenty of dishes and linens. Community pool is not on site but an easy 15 min golf cart ride and a great way to see Cape Charles. We had a fabulous stay!

It had kayaks and bikes and floats to use. The kitchen was beautiful and the bedspreads were all adorable.The house had white carpet which was pretty stained throughout the house. It wasn't the cleanest house- the countertops were clean and the bathrooms were decent but when we got there it didn't look like it had been vacuumed and there was a load of towels and sheets sitting in the washer. The management company offered to send someone out right away but we declined and switched the laundry for them. The sink was dripping under the bathroom (they sent a handyman to fix it right away) and the toilet seat came off the toilet (my husband fixed it). When we pulled up the blinds the windowsills were filthy. It's a shame because it's a beautiful house but it needs a really deep cleaning and maybe some updated flooring. There's definitely room to spread out so that's an added bonus if you have kids with you. I would possibly rent it again if I knew that it had a few updates and a deep cleaning before I went. The property management company was always available to help us out and provided immediate response to our concerns.

This home is beautifully furnished, perfectly located and great for family gatherings. You can enjoy each other’s company in the spacious living room or have some private time in the small sitting area.

Nicely furnished and well-maintained. Enjoyed being so close to the water. Great neighborhood.

My friends and I enjoyed the wide, open living space. Having a table in the porch was a plus. The house, being walking distance to the beach, we enjoyed the morning nature walks. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathrooms were clean although some shower curtain liners need replacing. Except for difficulty in locking the front door which was open when we arrived, difficulty in locating the remote controls which were placed in a drawer, and supplied with only one set of towels per person, we had a great stay and I recommend the place. Doug, our rental agent was very responsive to our calls and needs.
