'Bayside' Louisiana Vacation Rental w/ Dock!

I rent based on reviews so I like to be thorough.This is a nice house with plenty of space and beds. There’s 2 living rooms and the bedrooms are large. The beds are comfy. The “2 twins room” is not a closed room, they are in more of like an office type area with walls on 3 sides- fine for kids though. The deck is nice, as is the dock. So you can prepare, please know: you’ll want to bring your own paper towels (1 roll), toilet paper (1 roll in each bathroom), trash bags (1 in the bin no extra), and laundry soap (none). There was 12 bath towels/ wash cloths, so plenty. The gas grill ran out of propane after about 1 min. The charcoal grill is completely fell apart but really small if it is put back together. There are very few cups or bowls, but plenty or plates and utensils. The cooking pan selection is good. There was dish detergent. No fans anywhere (if you like that to sleep) but the air worked well. There is a well stocked dollar store within a few miles. Large spaces were mostly clean, but the rugs could use a wash and the fridge was full of bugs. The WiFi is super slow, but could be partly location too. You will enjoy the place, just come prepared!

We truly enjoyed our visit at Bayside! The location was perfect for our long weekend away. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 kids. The back porch was perfect for coffee in the morning and adult beverages in the evening with lots of yard for the kids to run around outside. We would definitely stay there again.

Rental was clean when we checked in and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. Rooms situation was perfect for our family.

My family absolutely enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty of room and the house was very clean. The kids fished off the dock and we swam in the cove. Communication with the host was not great however but we didnt really need anything. We just wanted to report some things we found as far as lights out and dirty shower curtains.Again the house was clean and very comfortable but the outside back area, covered patio and yard, could use some attention. The grass was very tall. There were ants everywhere on the patio and rotten food in the yard right off the steps. I didnt even want to mention these things on this review but after not hearing back from the host three days ago regarding the minor needs of the house i thought maybe they would see it here.We will come back anyhow. Thats how much fun we had.

Beautiful property. Fit our needs perfectly. We had lots of room for 8 adults, a teen and 4 under 5yo

We enjoyed our stay in this house. Family vacation and everyone had plenty of room to spread out and hang out. Loved the property with the bay access, fishing peer, and boat launch.

Our family truly enjoyed the Thanksgiving gathering at the Bayside Camp in Louisiana. The camp was cozy and well distributed with five bedrooms offered outstanding sleeping arrangements for everyone. The bathrooms needed some attention, but we cleaned them anyway. The kitchen was well equipped with the exception of a blender or hand mixer. The BBQ grill needs repair. The weather was cold, consequently the fish stayed away regardless of all the bate and bread we fed them. The grounds were kept clean and trimmed and there was plenty of parking.

The property was better than expected. The back porch was very nice and comfortable. All beds were comfortable. Will be staying here again next year!!!
