Bare Feet Retreat Gulf-Front Charm w/ Porch + Private Beach Walk

Was a great view and most perfect beach access with our own boardwalk. Upstairs balcony is perfect. Plenty of room for parking as well.

Beautiful and great location. Wish it had a few more amenities of home. In the kitchen and for the beach.

This home is absolutely beautiful, my family and I had such an incredible time here! The home has the perfect location, literally just a few steps away from the beautiful beach, from your very own beach access. The home was equipped with basically everything we needed for our stay. We were able to check in almost 2 hours early which was a huge plus for us! We loved this home so much I’m sure we will be renting it again in the future!

This is an incredible Location. The house is steps onto the beach with your own little path. Loved how it was more private and way less crowded than the in town beach. It is very close to town for all the yummy restaurants. We would definitely go back to this house. The one thing I’d say is come knowing you’ll need beach towels because they aren’t provided, shampoo conditioners, and you’ll need more toilet Paper paper towels trash bags etc. They leave a bar of soap for each bathroom and one toilet roll. This is just a heads up. We still think it deserves the 5 stars because it is wonderful!

Wonderful place to stay

The house is very comfortable. The bedrooms were perfect for us. ( 6 adults, 1 child) The living area was arranged perfectly. There are puzzles and beach books for when-a beach break is needed. The deck is terrific! We used the gas grill with no problems. Downstairs is an outdoor shower. Kitchen well stocked with appliances, pans, bowls, dishes, pots, utensils & cooking utensils. Another set of forks would be nice to have as we don’t use plastic! Also, as the freezer in the fridge is small & the demand for ice is high, perhaps a small ice maker could be installed? A kitchen drawer came off the track and maintenance was out that day to repair it! He also set up the hose for us as someone had removed the connector. One flaw that was almost a deal breaker for us renting again next year is the bathroom in large downstairs bedroom. The toilet/shower closet has slatted, wooden swinging doors as seen in old Western movies! They don’t even latch! This affords no privacy. I am hoping that the owner upgrades this to a barn door! I rented in good faith that this will happen! The boardwalk to the beach is excellent. It was so nice having 2 Adirondack chairs at the base of the walk. Such a great place to sit & sip or read or just listen to waves at night. Lovely touch! We used the beach umbrella for extra shade. There were beach chairs & toys that we did not use. All in all this was a great house for us.

Great location! The house had everything we needed. It IS a bit dated, however. Swinging 'saloon like doors to the toilet/shower in downstairs bedroom REALLY need to be changed. There is no bathroom privacy in that area.

We loved the privacy of the home, and how it was still close to restaurants. It felt like we had the ocean all to ourselves.

Unbeatable location with private walkway access to the Gulf of Mexico. Great two level deck, partially covered, ideal for dining or enjoying the swing.
