Our stay was good, property was nice, older home so some areas were cold, it was 10 degrees outside. Beds were comfy and warm. Upstairs bathroom was small and what is considered a 3rd bedroom is really not, it was awkward if you had to leave the upstairs bedroom to go downstairs or use the upstairs bathroom and there is a bed there in the open room. Modern appliances, plenty of coffee and condiments. All in all it was good stay for the price.
We had several events in Bardstown that we were attending and didn’t want to drive home after a late night. I’m glad we stayed. This house is a charmer! The beds were comfortable and it is so convenient if you are riding the Old Kentucky Dinner Train. We will definitely book this house again!
The place was clean but the 2nd bathroom was super tiny upstairs so did not fit the needs when there is more than 1 couple and you need 2 full bathrooms. Should have pictures of 2nd bathroom on website so people can see the size of it.
We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, well stocked. Having all the supplies for coffee was a very nice feature. Only negative comments we have is it said it was a 3 bedroom house technically I wouldn't call the 1st room upstairs to be a bedroom. Also the bathroom/shower upstairs was weird having the shower out in the open. We had a total of 3 couples luckily we have traveled many times with them so we made it work. If you are looking for 3 private bedrooms I wouldn't recommend this house.
Are stay was really nice. House was nice the town was really nice.
Great property for the bourbon trail!
Very nice home! It was the perfect fit for my husband and I. Very clean with everything we needed and more. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning.
Nice place to stay.
We had a wonderful weekend. Bardstown has several great shops/ restaurants. Bourbon trail and wineries were fun!! The house was adorable. Definitely stocked with ALL the things (towels, washcloths, soap, shampoo, paper toweling, Everything abd then some) The only negative was no washer/dryer.
Great house and location for the bourbon trail! We will be back again next year?
Perfect location. Very clean. Everything we needed
This house was perfect for our stay in Bardstown. Great location and plenty of room for me, my husband, and dog! Would stay again if we travel to Bardstown in the future!
4 adults (2 couples) stayed here while exploring Bourbon country. The place was fantastic- absolutely loved the upstairs bedroom. Overall a great place.
This little house is right next to the dinner train and the tracks run behind the house. You'll hear the train as it comes and goes, but that's only once in the evenings and I don't think it runs every night. Everything was clean and check in/out was easy. There is a good size driveway and grassy lawn out back and next to the house. We loved being able to travel with our dogs and the neighborhood is quiet and safe for walking, with sidewalks throughout. It took us about 15 min to walk downtown (but we walked slow with an older dog) so it's probably closer to a 10 min. walk through a quiet neighborhood with little traffic.) The house has an eclectic array of furnishings, some older antique-style. There were plenty of new, white, plush towels and the linens were new and soft. The kitchen is basic but has what you need. With so many restaurants nearby you don't really need to cook!
The property was beyond what we thought it would be. The location was quiet , was within walking distance to downtown..would highly recommend.
This property is very clean and cozy. It was perfect for the 4 of us. We really enjoyed being able to walk into Bardstown center. The house was well stocked with kitchen and bath items including really nice towels, plenty of coffee cups and bourbon glasses! So our stay was very fun and comfortable! Highly recommend.
The house was very cute and clean. Loved all the towels and added touches like coffee creamers. The whole process was very easy and it’s in a great location… half mile walk to downtown Bardstown. We’d love to come back some time!
we were in town for a train ride and bourbon tour. The home was perfect for our group.
Was a lovely house to stay at in Bardstown. Plenty of rooms and close to shopping in town.
Wonderful place. Would stay again without question.
Exactly as advertised, met our needs quite well.
We were within walking distance to downtown and enjoyed being able to try the many restaurants. Quiet neighborhood, easy access to distilleries and museums, Stephen Foster home and BernHeim forest/nature preserve. Home is very comfy, anything you need to cook, etc. Great response from property manager.
The house was a perfect place to visit and relax with our family.
Walking distance to local restaurants. Clean, comfortable. Multiple bathrooms. The queen bed in the lower bedroom was very supportive. Friendly owner. Good communication.
Perfect for 2 couples to stay. Short walk to downtown Bardstown.
