We would love to share our beautiful home on Center Hill Lake with you and your family! It is very unique in that it is one of only a few homes on the lake located on the water. You can, literally, back your boat from the house right into the water. While spending the day out boating you can drop off anyone who needs a rest at the house and then pick them back up with ease. It is a 50 yard paved walk to the boat launch!
The home was completely renovated in March 2026 and is two levels. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, but has beds for 10. The upstairs has a covered back porch for easy parking and handicap access. You can actually access both the upstairs of the home and the downstairs without using stairs if needed.
The kitchen is brand new in 2026 and is fully stocked with dishes, utensils and amenities, including microwave, blender, coffer maker, crock pot and griddle. There is a large dining room table and smaller side table if you need more seating.
We have internet with 500 Mbps WiFi if you need to connect remotely!
The upstairs family room has a 65 inch smart HDTV with DISH cable, including ESPN. There is plenty of seating for large groups!
There is spacious front porch that runs the length of the home and is accessed through two separate, beautiful sliding doors. There is a large amount of outdoor seating for watching all the wildlife and a large gas grill.
On the lower level you can play games on the ping pong table or separate pool table, or watch games on the 50 inch HD TV in the downstairs family room!
There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer.
Have fun in the large front yard playing ball or picking apples from one of the 3 apple trees that bear fruit in mid to late summer. You can also enjoy a fire out under the stars and roasting smores in the fire pit near the house. There is also a canoe to carry down to the water to quietly explore the lake!
We are located just 15 minutes from I-40 by car. It is just under an hour to Nashville International Airport and is a very easy drive. We are 15 minutes from the town of Cookeville, where Tennessee Tech is located. There is every restaurant you can imagine, along with movie theaters, bowling alley and roller skating in case you have a rainy day. We are less than 10 minutes by car from Cookeville Boat Dock Marina. By boat, we are less than 10 minutes from Hurricane Marina and are located right at the entrance to Mine Like Creek - famous for its wakeboarding and water skiing conditions.
Whether you are just wanting to have a large place for several families to meet, a place right on the water with easy access for boating, a mile of walkable shoreline for exploring and fishing, or thousands of acres of adjacent US Corp of Engineers property for hunting, we think you will have a great time at our home!

Might have been the time of year, but it was nearly impossible to be outside without bug spray. Also, the road to the beach was in bad shape. The beach area was a heavily used launch for boats so the water was pretty polluted.

The house was very clean and close to so many beautiful state parks and the lake. The pros: very clean(except the fan in the bathroom needs to be cleaned), very responsive, everything works including the ice maker, pool table and ping pong table was great. The couches were comfortable too. The cons: the apple trees do not appear to bear fruit, a couple of the bed need to be replaced as the mattresses are broken down, the house is close to the lake but it is not an easy walk to and from the lake. Overall, it is a nice place to stay.

The house was awesome and super clean. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out and spend time together. The only complaint is the distance from the water and the boat ramp was pretty rough. Wasn't an issue for most of us but my Aunt had trouble getting down there and back up.

Great location right on the lake! Very clean and checkin/out was easy. The perfect spot to stay on the lake and visit the great state parks all around the area.

We had a great time! Short walk to lake access or you can drive and park. Can launch a boat there as well. Great swimming area. We floated in the cove all day. House was great! Quiet neighborhood. It was a great getaway with friends. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a great place and close to the area to put the boat in if you have one. We have a Party barge pontoon and was able to get the boat in and out. 4 wheel drive was a help getting out. The locals in the small valley were very friendly and gave alot of great information and pointers.

My family and I spent a week at the house, and we enjoyed our stay. There were seven of us, and there was plenty of room. Wifi and all necessities were available. We were thinking we would have a view of the lake, but that is not the case, so if you are looking for that, this is not the right location. That said, the lake is good and deep and you don't have to deal with the lake muck if you go swimming.

I have severe scoliosis and have had a spinal fusion. Also have arthritis and degenerative disc disease. With that being said, this was by far the worst bed I've ever slept on! I have been in constant pain since the first night of constant tossing and turning. I checked the other bed as well and none seemed very comfortable but the master could definitely use a new mattress. Overall, the house was great but i would not recommend in the winter because it could be difficult to access. The teens loved the pool table and ping pong table. The lake access was mostly just for boat ramp use and not much room for fishing or swimming.

We loved the house and how close to the water for the kids to swim.
