Back Forty Lodge w/ Spa, Fire Pit & BBQ

Our daughter decided to have her wedding at GNP. Because it was a destination wedding for us, the house served its purposes for out-of-towners. The property was gorgeous, very clean, spaceous for all of us (12 adults), and was very well equipped with high end appliances. The smoker was particularly enjoyed by my nephew who enjoys cooking with it ;-). The hot tub was also a hit as well as the fire pits and the Breville. We got a brief visit by a black bear (very quick, not enough time to snap a photo) which was exciting. Of course, the deers were constant visitors. The house added a lot to the Montana experience and memories. I highly recommend the property.

Amazing home - beautiful property. What a spot for a gathering of friends and family -- the home has everything you could want for 2 days or 2 weeks. The property is even better - great trails for hiking and snowshoes!! So glad we found this place and certainly will be back in the future!!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family Christmas getaway. It was clean and exactly as described. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and had a great coffee bar. The host was so responsive and accommodating. This house has everything necessary for a large group getaway. The bunk room away from the other bedrooms was a great place for our teens to hang out. Beds were great as well! We loved this place and would recommend to anyone visiting Whitefish.

The house and property are gorgeous, we had a great family vacation celebrating our parent's 50th wedding anniversary. We had plenty of space and the kids loved the bunk room. The host was excellent to work with and puts a lot of care into this property. We loved the privacy while still being close to town.

Our group of 4 couples stayed at this truly lovely and modern home and loved it! Plenty of room to spread out, enjoyed the beautiful kitchen and deck. Very clean and well organized and labeled, informational booklet provided answers to our questions. We all loved it and would stay there again!

We spent the week at Back Forty Lodge to celebrate my daughter’s wedding in Whitefish. Everything was perfect. There was plenty of space for family. Each guest had their own bathroom. The owner went above and beyond to help make this an enjoyable week. I would give him a more than 5 star rating if I could.

The house was amazing and the perfect size for our three families! The bunk room is a great space for the kids. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit while watching the kids play in the snow and explore. All of the adults went on long walks down the drive to visit Sebastian (the neighbor white fluffy dog) who would greet us. Every detail was considered, and the house was really well stocked. We made some great memories on this trip and hope to be back soon!

Great setting and location

beautiful home, incredible location. we spent the weekend with friends and family to celebrate our wedding. we had a dinner with everyone and there was plenty of space and seating for everyone. there were 2 cars available for rental in the garage and even alcohol and wine available to buy. hope to come back at some point. I can’t say enough good things about it.
