B Dock Walk-Cozy 3 bed/2 bath and close to beaches

The good about this property was being close to the beach and the north section of the Redwoods. The bad about this property is many. The house smells bad, there are ants all over the kitchen, mattresses are falling apart, bedding specifically the pillows are old and gross, the carpet is gross to step on, windows couldn’t open, there was a spot in the bathroom that looked like mold had been painted over, you can hear conversations through the master bedroom wall that you share with the neighbors which makes it hard to sleep, and the tubs don’t drain very well. My family ended up leaving a day early because we were having asthma and allergy issues. We didn’t have issues when we were out of the home. I would not stay here again.

The property was located close to the beaches and was very comfortable. It was clean and located at a central spot to areas nearby.

I loved the area of this property. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. It was close to food, stores and walking distance to beach and lighthouse. Great driving distance to attractions and state parks. The house was clean, roomy with comfy beds. Kitchen has cooking utensils, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The living room has a couch to watch Netflix and dining area has table and chairs to sit down. These are just some of the great things this house has to offer. I would love to stay here again.

Very comfortable, roomy place to stay, a short walk from the beach and priced right! 3 bedrooms can be hard to find in this price range so we were glad to stumble across this. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything we needed and the beds were pretty comfortable. We loved the lighthouse and the rocky beach close by. Just a mile up the road is a beautiful stretch of sandy beach to enjoy. Freshening up the decor in the house would be my only suggestion (I suspect a male influence here), otherwise, we were very pleased with our stay!

It was centrally located to everythingthat we were doing.

The property was very dirty. We were greeted with pile trash at the front of the property. The smell of wet dogs greeted us upon entry and upon wiping down the bed and the bathroom, the wipes came away black. See photos of the stained bed sheets, black wipes and broken closet door. Don't stay here.

This is a great vacation rental . Spacious with fenced in backyard .Walking distance to beach ,light house, pump track ,coffee shops, restaurants & downtown Crescent City . Centrally located for trips to the Redwoods , Smith River , Elk Valley Casino & more.Comfy beds, very clean home. Great for families, couple’s get away etc. I am a resident of beautiful Crescent City & placed my very picky mother in law & daughter (her granddaughter )at the home, for a visit with us. They loved the house & found it very comfortable . Loved the kitchen which had everything needed to cook meals. Nice dining area & living room area was cozy & comfortable to watch tv & visit. 2 bathrooms . Arrival to home was easy with key pad & instructions were clear . Very good & fast communication with host . Located in a quiet & safe neighborhood. I would give this lovely rental a 10 & would not hesitate to rent again for my family or myself .Sorry no photos . We were too busy having a fun Christmas . Pics on VRBO are an accurate depiction of home.

House was comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet.

This was a perfect place for our family! Very family friendly and equipped for kids with games, books, movies, coloring, beach toys, etc. Close easy walk to the beach or the lighthouse. Loved the location, and the house! It was clean and equipped with more than the necessities. Kitchen was fully stocked. The host was excellent and attentive to handle any concerns. The vent for the heater was leaking in the rain and they had it repaired same day and got the heater going for us. They even dropped off a space heater in the meantime. Highly recommend!

This was a great central location for accessing beaches and the redwoods.

We had a phenomenal stay. The host answered any and all questions we had about a possible tsunami prior to our arrival. The house was welcoming and clean. We were able to walk to the beach on the first night to see a beautiful sunset. It was also very close to the Redwood Forest which was our main goal while traveling.

Visiting the area on vacation for the coast and Redwood National Park. A great spot

Location was great, came for the Redwoods loved that, ended up going to the Battery Point Lighthouse at low tide and was so surprised by this little addition to our trip. The time spent exploring the sea life in the tide pools were a highlight of our trip. My 10 and 7 year old loved exploring. House was exactly what we needed and one of the better stocked houses I’ve stayed in.

We planned this family trip to the coast after a two year absence. We appreciated the well appointed & stocked kitchen. We ended up doing some cooking. And the overall open layout , 3/2 full baths, little backyard all worked well. Enjoyed the location also; took some walks to the beach & park.

Our first day there was pretty cold. The heater didn't work and we were freezing. We finally figured out that the furnace pilot light had gone out. I immediately emailed the owner and he was very responsive. He was going to send over a person to light the pilot lightllight.mamathey're mine

We visited to see the ocean and the redwoods, we spent two nights here. The host was helpful in pointing out good restaurants and activities.

very relaxing, close to the beach

Cute little duplex and close to the beach. Not the most modern place but it worked. Had almost everything you could image needing except for a candle to mask the old/musky smell of an older rental. Not the worst problem to have I’m just a little more sensitive to smells. The WiFi was not working when we got there but we contacted to owner and they were very quick to help us remedy the situation. Overall we had a nice time. Cozy little home for a couple like us or a family!

This was the perfect place for my and my friends to spend the weekend. The house was perfect and accommodating. The location can’t be beat!

Great place to stay if you are checking out the Redwoods and the ocean. The main beach in Crescent City is great. The ocean is 3 blocks from the house and you can check out tide pools at low tide. Took my two kids on first solo dad trip. The house is cozy and nice.
