During the day, kids can be seen riding bikes on those same streets and enjoying the open play area throughout the community. This year-round community features a clubhouse with an indoor and outdoor pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, private beaches, a community boat ramp, boat slips, a fishing/crabbing pier, shoreline walking paths and even interactive water fountains for the kids. If that wasn't enough, there is also a general store, a cafe and a restaurant located right on the shores of the bay! Located just 1.5 blocks from the beach, this Sunset Island is ready to make this your best Ocean City vacation ever!

If you are going to stay in this fabulous community, then you should be staying at an equally as impressive home. This beautiful 5 BR 4.5 BA unit will accommodate 12 people and is exactly what you want! This home features 4 nicely appointed levels. On the first level you will find a bedroom with its own private bath and the laundry area. As you move up to the main level, there is the living room, 2 dining areas, a sitting area and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen that is ready for all of your culinary creations! The 3rd level hosts the master bedroom with private bath and 2 additional bedrooms with a shared bath. The 4th level has a private suite with its own bathroom and a private balcony that gives you a view of the bay!

THINGS TO KNOW:
* The community resort fee includes parking for 3 cars and 6 pool passes. The price is as follows 1/1 to 4/30 = $100, 5/1 to 5/23 = $150, 5/24 to 9/12 = $200, 9/13 - 9/30 = $150 and 10/1 to 12/31 = $100. Additional pool and parking passes may be purchased at $75 each. These fees will be due at the time of check-in at Sunset Island. We are not responsible for any changes/ differences in community fees or changes in pool operation/ closures.
* Sorry no pets allowed.
* This is a non-smoking/ non-vaping unit.
* There is parking for 3 vehicles- 1 in the garage and 2 on the driveway outside of the garage.
* Quick access to the beach
* The boardwalk runs from the inlet to 27th street. This condo is on 67th street.
* This unit includes bed linens, towel sets, hotel quality bathmats and kitchen hand towels.
* This unit does not rent to graduating seniors or to parents renting on behalf of graduating seniors. Sorry, no exceptions. All individuals in a non-family group must be a minimum of 25. The minimum age for groups increases to 30 on holiday weekends.
* The private Sunset Island beaches do not allow 4 post canopies or coverings.
* We provide a welcome packet which includes toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels, dish washing liquid, and dishwasher pods.
* TV's can be a combo of cable and/or streaming. TV viewing options are chosen by the property owner.
* The sleep total of 12 is the maximum occupancy allowed, including children and infants.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a great venue for my 3 generation family. Everyone had a wonderful time. The variety of activities ( bay/pool/ocean/ community activities that catered to all age groups) made this the perfect location for our family. Before arriving, I was a little nervous about there being too many rules but everyone there was so friendly and helpful that my concerns were quickly dispelled.

The property management was our only issue. We went to them 4 times about us getting told the correct place for our 3rd vehicle to park and they never gave us correct information. Even with a parking pass, they kept giving us parking violations. This was an unpleasant part of our stay here.

Our family enjoyed staying at Sunset Island. There is so much to do with leaving the resort. It was a short walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The home fit our family and was very spacious.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and set up of the house is amazing. However, if you want to use your pool passes the first night you better get there at 4 because the office closes at 4:30- stupid set up on timing. Also beware the passes you need to park and swim are delegate costs paid out of pocket when you arrive, when we arrived our place had barely been cleaned. Dirty toilets with gunk where the bolts fasten seat to toilet, broken toilet paper holders hanging out of the walls, wobbly dining chairs, crumbs on surfaces and on floor in bedroom 1 and kitchen surfaces not wiped down and carpets need cleaning.
