Camano Island, Washington
We had to start a new listing for this property - # 2281745. Same house, owners and manager.
This beautiful 1850 square foot home was built in 2004 facing west for wonderful views across the water to Whidbey island with unforgettable sunsets.
The living room, dining room and kitchen are all open to each other and to the front windows for maximum view and ease of entertainment and sharing the time with your entire group.
The deck runs the entire length of the front of the house and wraps around the side where the hot tub is. This allows for privacy while still maintaining the view from the hot tub. The large yard features a fire pit for warming up on cool evenings.
The master bedroom features a king sized bed and an en-suite bathroom. The huge shower is set up for two people with shower heads on both sides.
The guest bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. Full hall bathroom is right around the corner.
The detached cottage features maximum privacy for the 3rd bedroom. It has a full bed and you can even see the water views from the large window.
The beach access is at the end of the dead-end street - just 2 houses down. There is a nice path down to the water. We provide a crab boat with crab pots for the crabbing season which is from Fourth of July through Labor Day - sometimes there is a winter season as well.
Our family had a great time at Camano Island. My son caught crabs and we found tons of shells. The tide was interesting for a family of midwesterners. We also saw bald eagles.
Had a great stay here with my family. Jenn was very responsive, answering any questions and even suggested to shift our dates due to the crabbing season being closed mid-week. It was great that she was looking out for us. The house itself has everything you might need and the pictures don't do the living/kitchen/dining great room justice. Would definitely recommend for anything looking to stay in the area.
Hot tub was superb as was the fire pit!
Lovely home on Camano, great view, we’ll stocked kitchen , variety of board games and dvds . Beds comfortable. Didn’t use guest house but was nice. Would have loved to have kayaks and Sup to use. Cama st park is 1.5 mi south and has rentals but not when we were there (only open th-sun). Rocky beach but so many crabs, sand dollars and shells! Would have brought our own lawn games/ only croquet provided. The binder Jenn provides is SO thorough and gives lots of good info about Camano. Beach access was a bit tricky to find/ you do have to cross what looks like someone else’s property to get to the path. Jenn was great at communicating. The house rules and contract are stricter than most— make sure you read thoroughly before booking!! We weren’t able to bring friends as would be 1 over max capacity (8 instead of 7), main reason was septic tank which I understand. Thank you!
House was clean. Silverware needed an extra wash before using. Appliances worked well. With the drought the lack of water made the lawn “crispy” and dirty so lawn games not able to be played. The row boat was hard to control and although we tried crabbing we were not successful.
