When you vacation at Hejsager Strand, you can experience a landscape of green meadows and valleys, forests and fjords that end in the Little Belt. A truly family-friendly area with child-friendly beaches and calm waters.

Nearby Haderslev has a charming old town dominated by the impressive cathedral. Take a walk through Haderslev Dampark near the city center, for example. Also worth a visit is Haderslev Deer Park with free-ranging fallow deer and crowned deer.

In cozy Aabenraa you can shop in the long pedestrian zone. Further south is Gråsten Castle, which is the meeting place of the royal family every summer. Continue to Sønderborg with charming waterfront and cafes, restaurants, beautifully located in the southeast corner of Jutland on the Flensburg Fjord and Als.
