Although air conditioning was not working when we arrived it was repaired quickly. We really enjoyed the quiet at this home. When they say the road is rough getting there, believe them. Didn't really bother us, but I can see that it would be a problem for some.
Elegantly appointed and cozy with beautiful details and pretty views! The only downside is how far out it is. I wish we’d driven our Jeep instead to make it down the genuinely rough road.
A cute, relaxing visit to a magical corner of the Sonoran dessert! Property was clean and in tip top shape for our visit. If you're looking for a quiet relaxed visit to this part of the country, you can't go wrong with this VRBO!
Great Adobe cottage with everything we needed.
The property it self is wonderful, secluded, lots of wildlife, birds especially. However, there were a few items of concern. First of all, the access code, we tried to put in out our own, but were unsuccessful. Second, we called the owners and care taker and never got a response. Thirdly, the ice machine in the refrigerator, did not work. Lastly the outside door did not latch, i.e., if you were sitting outside , you would have to lock the door for it to stay closed.
Desert environment was great! Really off the beaten path, quiet, peaceful, felt remote .but not too far from town. Extremely well equipped, everything you could need was there!
This is a great Casita it has a lot of ambiance you feel you are in the desert surrounded by nature. We had a great time and would book this place again.
Overall was a nice place to stay. Positives of the location were that it has a great view and awesome desert scenery. The neighborhood was very quiet. We saw several wild rabbits, quail, and lizards. The home had almost everything that we needed. We would have liked if there were already condiments on site, but maybe due to pandemic this was not possible? Would recommend to bring some DVDs and books for the evenings as the ones available at the home were somewhat limited.
What a lovely casita! Authentic Adobe right down to the details. Andrew and Rhonda have thought of all the little things that made our stay so special. The home was so very clean, and we lacked no good thing! Time spent sitting in the chairs facing the mountain, enjoying the desert, are some of our best memories from this trip. Thank you for a wonderful casita, a delicious gift basket, a washer and dryer, quick responses to our questions, and kind hearts.
Property did not live up to our expectations for the money. Spent two days trying to get hot water and even following plumber visit, could not take baths due to low water temps. Bad road into unit. Owner impolite and poorly responsive to phone calls. No typical welcome message so bad to call for internet access. Property very close to another house.
